Thanks. nother silly question....the clock at swim exit, does it show the 6:50 pro start time or the 7 am start time when we hit the beach on our first lap and as we finish? |

Member 11 | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread Last year, it showed the pro time. I didn't realize it at first and was a little bummed as I thought I would swim faster. However, as I was running back into the water for my second lap, I heard the announcer saying that the first pro was finishing his swim at 44:?? and it dawned on me that the time clock was on the pro time. Talk about an instead boost, I was suddenly 10 min. faster. I didn't notice the time after the second lap or really anywhere else on the course until the finish line so I'm not sure when they adjust the clocks. |

They don't adjust the clock at the finish line until about 9:30 on the pro clock so the clock is genreally off for the first few AG finishers. |

Race day I'm sporting a red tri top and black shorts. Black visor. Or just look for the lazy slob crying about why I signed up for another one of these things at about mile 1 on the run. #2266 |

Expert 1148 Santa Fe, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread I made it. Had to find a medical clinic in PCB for a sinus infection. Found a good one if anybody should need one this week. BT swim meet up at 8:00 on the boardwalk tomorrow. In 2008 and 2010 the registration line on Wednesday was little to none at about 10:00 in the morning. I heard there was a bit of a line first thing. My name is Jasha, Bib number 3000 ( pretty cool because this is my 3rd IMFL ) I'll be wearing BT tri top. probably dayglow green on the early part of the bike. does anyone at Shores have a floor pump I can borrow for a few minutes tomorrow? Is anyone interested in meeting for lunch tomorrow? |

Even with a 2 days glue job it is ok for IM Florida, since there are no descents and fast turns. If you go with glue, I would stretch the tires wednesday morning (mounted on the rims unglued), then first layer of glue in rims and tires on wednesday afternoon, second layer on thursday morning (on rims) and mount, inflate, and ride on friday morning before bike check-in. With that will be ok |
