As long as the heels are the same height you should be ok. Otherwise you might find you're walking in circles.
Summer is ALL about sandals; everyone knows this.
I don't like sandals. They hurt my feet.

You're doing it wrong.

Your FACE is doing it wrong!!!

Actually because of the persistent PF and numerous other leg and foot issues, I refuse to wear shoes that don't have something that holds them to my feet, like flip-flops or dress shoes without laces.

That one I'll give you. I have very high arches and, without support, my feet and calves get tired easily.

And lace up dress shoes are the best for fit and feel. My well worn Johnston and Murphy's are da bomb! I'm on my 5th set of soles on them.

I love my shoes -- got them at Nordstrom on sale for like $50 last year, they're Bostonians, I think, and they're by far the best dress shoes I've ever had. I need to get new ones as mine are kind of sad.

If they fit and are broke in, get them resoled. Costs me about $50, but I have a new pair of the greatest fitting shoes ever. I love the cobbler shop. I also treat myself to a professional shine as often as practical. The guys in 30th street station in Philly cranking Sinatra on the boom box are awesome. So is Indianapolis and Charlotte airports.

And it is the last day of the work week, and most of my family will be at my house tonight prepping for RAGBRAI.  What that really means is a lot of beer, and probably 10-15 people in the pool and needing more beer.  Thanks to my brother and mother-in-law, we have 5 cases of Black & Tan.  I may have to hide some of it, so I can have some after we get back from RAGBRAI.

That run is so nice, you can run on grass for more than half of it if you want! I had to last year from shin splints.

I need to do more trail running, or something.  Running on grass tires my legs faster than the road.

On an unrelated note, I want to road trip to the Chicago for Riot Fest.

The band lineup is looking pretty freaking amazing!  http://riotfest.org/

Dumas. Why???

With my discount for being a veteran and member of Team RWB, it was only $51 to register.

When does anyone ever get to do a HIM for only $51?

My youngest nephew is a gymnast - so much fun to watch, I'm always amazed at their strength and talent.

She's prep op intermediate. She loves vault and beam, but not the " dance" elements of beam or floor. She's really a natural athlete and a perfectionist. Yeah; I'm proud and doting.....
