This just in:

"The entire metro-Washington DC area will be canceled this evening.  Be sure to buy every bottle of water, loaf of bread, and gallon of milk that your local grocer has in stock, as the snow might not melt for another 18-24 hours."

Please please please just canx my dinner tonight so I can train more and beat NL by 20 minutes this time.

I'm kinda pissed b/c if I knew the roads were gonna be a mess, I would have brought gym stuff to work. I don't want to battle my way home just to battle my way back. So not worth it.

If you pay me off, I will tire her out the night before

you ought to want to tire her out for free, really.

I do love tiring her out, but I know it is important for her to race at peak performance, so I will put my needs second.. unless the price is right

At smallwood I was able to beat all the male or female VAMDDCBTTCers in the race. Maybe I can do this again.

I'll play! I'll play!

you should sign up. the lower shelly is in the VAMDDCBTTC standings the better. you in the race would put her 3rd, at best.

me, you, and Scott puts her 4th. If Dan plays, she's 5th. Slake?

Slake's in, I think. I don't know how fast he is.

I crunched all my numbers and I predict 57:34 for me!

7:30 swim (1min/100m)

T1 = 2 seconds

30 bike (36 mph avg)

T2 = 2 seconds

20 minutes 5k .. gotta be realistic with my leg injury

Didn't we have this same exact conversation a few months back? haha.. The recurring themes of this thread:

VAMDDC drivers suck
Wurkit and Tri-hottie
Wurkit and 3558 hooking up
How much Shelly is going to kick NL's a$$ at the Kinetic Sprint

three of these are false, or won't come to fruition.

When you are actually ready to unleash your secret weapon, lets talk

Are you hitting on NL?

Now that its pretty much decided that I am going to kick NL a$$ why doesn't everybody else post their times?

At smallwood I was able to beat all the male or female VAMDDCBTTCers in the race. Maybe I can do this again.

Oh, I want to play! Reg is still open for this?

Resisting the urge to sign up....have the 1/2 the day bf....need to focus on LP....so tempting though.

I'm no coach, but, recovering from the half as quickly as possible to get back into your LP build would be my top priority.  But, seeing Shelly drop another spot in the VAMDDCBTTCers is certainly worth messing up your LP build.

My realistic estimate if I run a near perfect race: 1:35:30 (homefully run more than perfect and take out tim and michelle)

Maybe I'll come and do the half...or the sprint, don't know. If I do the half, I may still be on the course at this rate.  Then  I'll trip shelly b/c I'll be ahead of her on the run so you guys won't have anything to worry about.

I am jealous that you can so casually say "oh, maybe I'll do the half, I dunno..."  I have a half 9 months away and am slowly but surely freaking out about it.

Long weekend for everybody?

I'm off on Monday.  My boss is British (and an absent minded professor) and has a habit of not remembering American holidays, but he hasn't scheduled anything like he has been known to do so I certainly won't be working.
