MDHillSlug - 2008-12-15 6:02 AM It doesn't count for reindeer points but I had a great swim this morning!

Well done !

Very Rare Rain day here is (usually) sunny socal . Legs are all groggy so decided to spin in the dry today.

Very funny footage on the sitting Prez dodging two shoes thrown at him at a press conference by a displeased reporter on the TV . Fortunately he was unharmed . And Unarmed.

Tomorrow short run and swim .

ceilidh - 2008-12-14 5:26 AM Hey all. I am home and will get the spread sheet updated. I had no internet access so I couldn't get to my log or the spread sheet or nutthin. I'll update between chores today. Sorry I was so absent. I am on schedule though.

Welcome back , was it a good trip ?

Yep, it was good. I was in training during the week and the hubbie got to hike and play in the snow. I did have a couple of days to hike and we went to lots of great restaurants and brew pubs. Now back to the grind! Oh, and Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!! How did that happen?

Finally getting caught up to my goal - at least I won't get dropped at the end of the week for not making 40%!

I got a nice 5 mile run in on sunday in balmy 50 degree temps.  Today the weather was back to it's usual cold self.  I couldn't quite bring myself to go out in the sub zero windchills so it was 3.5 on the treadmill.

Keep on chugging, Blitzenaters!  First place will be ours!

2 miles in today and a mile swimming . Was cold with frost on the car this morning so i ran

with a long sleeve tshirt . The pool was covered in thick fog (its outdoor) but the water was nice 80F.

It was hard to tell how many were in the lanes as you could not see the other side from the water level.

As a reminder to the  Challengers  who dont make the  minimum 40% cutoff this  Friday .

Or Perhaps  this will motivate you :

We are doing an awesome job working out and meeting our goals for the month and complete that upcoming race with a smile  and maybe even a Personal Best  .

Best yet  with your continued hard work your Team Blitzen is going to move up in the standings soon

As you may remember  we were

4th place on week 1

 then 3rd  place on week 2  .

I predict we will  catch up  (or pass )  team Dancer
by Friday .

Hello peeps.... I am baaaack. Stomach bug is over, sore throat is on a tolerable level and I was able to do a run this morning..... It wasn't pretty, but it was a run!!!

Yeah team..... We moved up a place and I am sure we will have a strong second half of the month.

Oh.... and just for the fun of it.... here is my before & after pics post out of the tri'ing for weightloss forum..... That post took me 15 minutes to get done (I am not good with pics in the forum) so I can might as well post it twice!

Okay guys... Here I come..... I hope everybody can see the pics....

This is me at 186lbs in December 2007. In January 2008 I started my weightloss journey with healthy eating habits and a lot of exercise.

And this is a picture from today at 120lbs.

I am done with my weightloss journey, but not done living a healthy liftstyle.... That I am planning on doing for the rest of my life.

Good luck to everybody tri'ing for weightloss..... Nobody says that it is going to be easy, but it will be all worth it in the end!

HOLY COW! Ratkat-your transformation is AMAZING! Awesome job there chicky and you look fantastic!

TEAM: If we dedicate just a fragment of the determination and hardwork that Ratkat exerted on her year long healthy living evolution and funnel into this challenge; we'll be in first place in no time!

Got a 4 miler in today... it was ZERO when I ran at 9 am. I would have gone further but my nose was numb and I was getting sweaty and worried that I'd get chilly before I'd finish.

I'm coming down with my partner's cold. Hopefully I'll be able to run tomorrow and then take it easy until Sunday or Monday to stay on track with my running goal.

My cold has come on fast. I'm definitely not running tomorrow. I'm planning to sleep in and may stay home from work. I'm seeing my Dr in the afternoon. This was already scheduled as a well checkup but now it will be more. Anyone know if we can reduce our goal do to illness?

You should be able to reduce your goal if you have to take time off for illness.  Get lots of rest and get better soon!
