I did 7 more yesterday - if it would just stop snowing I could get outside. I am starting to feel like a caged hamster on that treadmill.

I know the feeling... but think one of those big wheels would be funner than a treadmill!

I'm at 37 miles, so far ahead of schedule.

Keep up the great work, everyone!

I knew I should have been more careful reading this thread. I caught whatever bug is going around Dam! Had a good run yesterday morning, then faded rapidly through the day and today is jsut ridiculous. HOpefully it's just a 24 hr thing.

I finally broke out of the cage today. Put on the snow cleats and ran outside. 10 degrees but sunny.  Running in the snow is a lot harder.  My pace sucked but what can you expect in snow and ice.  Got 5.31 in though and it felt awsome to be outside!

I remember those days... I was thinking about it as I was running in a t-shirt in 60 degree sunshine looking over the bay.

Spring is coming soon

56 miles so far. Only 2.5 weeks to go before I'm done with all of this.

Yet another 11.2 down today.  And praise the gawds .... this was my last double digit training run on a weekday for this training cycle.

119.7 complete.

Very quick and short run tonight. Over 42% of the way to my goal. Hopefully a longer run tomorrow.

Well, perhaps my flu shot that I got earlier helped me. Seems like 2 days I was completely down and out, but should be able to get back on the roads tomorrow. Other people i know who have battled this flu/bug/virus/whatever had it last for days and days and days. So, I can't complain.

The month is half over, people. How we all doing in our challenge?
Unfortunately Ell-in-or dropped out due to illness. (Get well)
Shaun82 and VikingMom still haven't updated anything - are you two still in the challenge?
We have jeff417 in the lead percentage-wise at 69%. Great job.
And Daremo - holy schnikes- 120 miles already logged!!
Otherwise, I'm seeing alot of percentages in the 30's. C'mon let's get those numbers up!!!

Don't forget to update the spreadsheet by Saturday night! And remember - Love Every Mile!!

Had to fix that ... hadn't logged into the spreadsheet in the last two days.

Now it correctly reflects my 130 miles ......

I need to log - I may have to use some of those elliptical miles. We will see at the end. This month's weather is just killing me.

Rumors of my demise are only slightly exagerated. Been down with the sickness for the better part of the last week. Just general weakness and malaise. Then my insides decided they wanted to be on my outsides. Feeling much better today and will get out and hit the road after I watch the World Championships on TV.

Waterdog is at 140 miles. He has a 10 miler planned for tomorrow.

Figured you might want to know. Like, I dunno, oh - if you two decided to have a little side challenge, or something. LOL

You've got the 2 highest run goals in the challenge, after all.

Well, I can set it to show two decimal places. But I figured that was overkill.

Waterdog just told me that the two of you are following pretty much the same plan. He even knew your scheduled mileage for this weekend. So he didn't think that a side challenge with you would be "that interesting."

Ah well. I tried.

Yeah, but I didn't do my 8 today because of a sick wife and kids.  So made today my first rest day for the month.

17 on the books for tomorrow but I'll probably make it only a 15.  After all ..... I'm supposed to be tapering.
