Today is a 2 mile run for me. I am right on schedule.

This weekend I have 2 miles each day or more if I feel up to it. Tomorrow is going to cheer on a neighbor's 11 year old and then watching that 11 year old so her parents can celebrate their anniversary a few days late. Sunday hopefully my run and then relax before Monday again.

Have a good weekend everyone. Remember update the spreadsheet with tomorrows run so if they post results we are up there on the list.

To All: What do you do for a living? Married / Children?  Noob Triathlete or Seasoned?

Ok - I'm a day late but here goes:

I'm a single parent of two teenagers (have been since they were 1 and 3 so we have it down).  I have worked for the same guys for over 25 years now.  Right now we do private equity investments and I support the 3 partners as well as run the office, pay the bills, etc.

As I mentioned in an earlier post I had a major fusion done to L4-L5 in my back almost 3 years ago.  I took up biking in 2007 and did two all women's sprint tris just for fun withough training.  Got a coach beginning of this year (switched coaches in March) and this season I did one century, a couple of 70-80 mile organized rides, one TT (with another coming up next weekend), 2 10ks, 6 sprints, 2 Olys and one HIM relay where I did the bike.  THIS is an addictive sport and I love it!

Last night I did another 4 miles and on tap this weekend is a brick on Saturday (2:40 bike and 20 min run) and an 1:15 run.  Plus computer watching my friend J22 do Kona tomorrow and following a few peeps at Chicago Mary on Sunday.

Have a great weekend ZzzzzzzzzzZombies!  And get those miles in.

Family bonding took place this week.  Even this warlock must appease his wife.  After tomorrow, I can be selfish again and kick azz.

A bit rubbery - my quads were tight initially, but quickly loosened up.  But my calves got tight after the first mile - I attribute this solely to being weak.  Fueling may have been off for this brick too.

Nope.  Warlocks marry witches.  They negate each other.

Have a good weekend, too.

Awesome!  What was your time?

Yesterday I did a 3:10 brick - 2:50 on the bike followed by a 20 min run (2 miles)

Today I did a 7 mile run and walked the dogs for about 2 (which I won't count).

Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Congrats on the AG win!!!

4 yesterday for me, I was planning for 6 today, but after the bike ride yesterday afternoon, my leg was a bit sore, so I'll do it in the morning.  Tomorrow was a rest day anyhow so all is good !

I finished in 50 minutes and 40 seconds.  That put me at an average pace of 8m 10s per mile.

Lisa B: Good ride on the bike yesterday.  Nice brick!

I did a long bike ride today. It was kinda sucky, not one I enjoyed. I'm gonna do a nice easy run tomorrow morning. I suppose I should do a taper for my race on Saturday.
