Got a swim in this morning with a planned run for this afternoon. Followed by some beer. beer = recovery drink For Travis it does. Like everything, in moderation it's good for you. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. |

Maybe we can 'treat' ourselves to something sinful if we get a green!!Wondering if there could be a challenge issue? What if you have a race? Egads! It'll be 30 days of peaches and one greenie! Todd
At my house bonus points are redemable for pizza! I like the way you think. |

I like think we're focused and dedicated!! We're just sad, sad people No sad, just totally normal....for a Triathlete! I think we may all have a touch of OCD. I came in from my eCycling class (90 min Computrainer class a.k.a. my 2x weekly a$$-kicking) and logged my workout immediatley. As for green boxes, I have a green one from yesterday....it's totally acceptable! YELLOW is banned!! Peeing on your saddle is acceptable, peeing on your training log....big no-no.

Obviously I'm still a bit green. I can't quit go the peeing on the saddle idea yet...few more miles on the bike , maybe I'll get there. I got the peeing in the wetsuit down tho'. |

I just can't bring myself to pee on the bike either. Maybe if I'm out in a rainstorm, I'll give it a shot. When you're slow like me though, another 2 minutes to stop and pee is worth the comfort. Got a KICK-A$$ leg session in this morning to start the day. Love those peach squares! |

Pro 3730 NorCal | Subject: RE: October Peach Challenge I got a 45 minute run session in....well not all of it was a run. Still tight from Sunday. So another OCD-type thing....when you run an out-n-back course do you have to touch something before you turn around? I need to touch a sign, a lamp-post, mailbox, something before I can turn around and head back. Anyone else??? |

Member 279 DC Metro | Subject: RE: October Peach Challenge not me abbie! Last night, I went for my run/walk and I was just wandering around the neighborhood. It was about time to turn back so I did run to a signpost but I didn't touch it. Does running to the signpost count? I was actually a bit giddy this morning putting in my workout before getting yelled at by someone (like pigpen!). I swam this morning with a few minutes of deep water running afterwards. I also decided to stretch in the hot tub which felt oh so good. |

That stretch in the hot tub sounds like heaven!!!! |

Expert 671 | Subject: RE: October Peach Challenge Is Salmon color Okay? My boxes with just "sports" minutes such as my bike commute turn the box salmon--not peach. If that works, consider me a late entrant into the challenge. I had to get creative for last saturday since I took the day off and went duck hunting. Fortunately standing in a duck marsh is a great strength workout. You really work your legs walking in ankle deep mud! |

Yes salmon works as does green (races), but no white or the dreaded yellow square! Welcome! Just log your training here and on your log everyday. |

Damn I hate holidays in an office setting! Too much junk food. I'm throwing this pledge out for the rest of today, it should help me stick to it....I WILL NOT EAT SUGAR FOR THE REAT OF THE DAY!!! sugar will not help me change my body comp. It could be a light pole, mail box or a mark on the road but thats how I know I made it to the end. I was running with my wife one day and about 10 paces after we turned around I ran back and looped around my phone pole. She was so annoyed! Todays workout is 45 minutes in the weight room and 35 minutes on the bike. |
