Apparently the urban sprawl in Texas has reached the point that Plano is essentially a suburb of Dallas.  FWIW there's a very active triathlon community there.  I have a good friend who lives in the Dallas suburbs and she loves it there.

Rynamite - 2008-10-13 8:03 AM My coworker is a freak of nature. He ran a half-mary yesterday, his first, in 1:40:01. As of 2 weeks ago, the longest he had run was 8 miles. I talked to him this morning and he said "We weren't running that hard, just a group of us all staying together BSing. I just wanted to stay under 8 minute miles." He said he was a little sore yesterday, but feels good today, and is going for a run tonight.

Next time you see him you need to crush his knee.

When you are as slow as I am, it's not really that difficult to improve each time.

Race Report is up, BTW.

Umm. I'm not sure any more.  I tried to take some down time.  I'm just feeling overwhelmed.  I have this class that I loathe and I'm trying  to determine if  I should stick it out or cut my losses.  Part of me wants to be done with classes this semester and part of me wants to not be so frustrated and angry.

I am cleaning off some of the excess crap that's been sitting around my office (mostly things needing to be filed away somewhere). Not terribly exciting. Hope this day goes by quickly.
