I kind of planned for a lighter end to the week since I did my long run on Monday and have been doing a bunch of racing. At one point I wasn't sure I would get anything in today. That made me sad, But now I am happy! Time for dinner. |

From my log: 2h 33m 05s 42.00 miles 16.46 Mi/hr So much for an easy ride with the wind at my back. The wind blew in my face or at my side the entire ride. I was anticipating two hard climbs on this ride, but I forgot about one. The second climb is a double, first a really mean climb, then a plunge back into the valley bottom, then climb back out again. Thought I might have to walk part of it, but I made it! All things considered, I should be happy with my speed, but I'm disappointed. Great ride! Way to tough out the wind and hills! That what doesn't kill us makes us stronger! |
