Hi Elves.  I've been a little quiet because work is crazy.  I'm ahead on swimming and behind on knee PT.  I'm actually ok with that....I need to swim more!!! If I really ramp up, I'll hit 200k yards this year.  That said, I WILL make my goals for this challenge.  If anyone needs a push, send my a PM and I will POUND you.

Came very close to ignoring my alarm this morning, but managed to drag myself out of bed and go for a run. Both bike and run are on target, but I'm getting a little worried about the weather as, although I have a treadmill, I have no way of cycling indoors. Hopefully the weather will behave until the end of the year!

hey Elves,
Been kind of hectic around here, we just finished moving.  I am still behind but managed to get a swim and a run.
I'll be able to catch up over the weekend

Go team!

Rode the rollers again this AM. 90 miles biked in December, but all on the rollers. Yuck! I've got to get outside!

Next training will be a swim on Tuesday. I'll try to check in between now and then.

Looking good, Elves!!! I got on the rollers again this morning for a short ride (35 min), but a ride nonetheless. I think a treadmill run tomorrow morning should put me nicely ahead of goal. It's getting pretty cold here in PA, so I'm more than happy to do all my training indoors. Happy training everyone!

Good morning Elves. I came down with some kinda cold the other night so I had to postpone my run yesterday. The good news is I will be able to just slide my other runs a day or two to the right this week and stay on plan. For now I'm just trying to stay hydrated and hoping that this congestion clears up soon. I REALLY want to get my tempo run done today if possible...

Had my longest bike ride so far this morning (mere 8 miles, but only been cycling for 2 weeks) and my legs ache so much that I'm glad I'm sat down all day at work!

Thankfully tomorrow is a rest day!

Hello all!
I may be able to get in on a cancellation in a week or so to have my knee fixed. Not sure yet. I will keep plugging away, at the biking and swimming but obviously if I am going for a scope I will have to drop out!! I will let the powers that be know as soon as I know ok?

Obviously your knee is more important than the challenge. Let us know what's going on.

Finished the work week with a 10k run on the treadmill at lunch. Pretty comfortable pace. I will try to get an indoor bike ride done over the weekend, but we'll see. I'm moving my Mother-in-law into a new condo, so perhaps I could consider that "strength training"? Then we are going to an annual neighborhood Xmas party that has historically been a blow out. I don't expect to be very functional on Sunday. Have a great weekend Elves!

Hi team -- sorry I've been MIA!  It's been a busy week of birthday (mine), daughter's dance recital, car not starting in the cold, training, holiday party and I don't know what else.... I'm ahead of sked on bike, way behind on swim, but that will change.  I don't know how people get in the pool when it's 0* outside.  If nothing else I'll swim in the Caribbean every day the last week of Dec.   I'll have to pre-post those swims cuz no computer access til January.

I have a duathlon tomorrow and the temps will be in the 40s -- hooray!

Go Evil Elves!!!

Got a short tready run done today.  Bike ride scheduled for tomorrow.  I hope the weather cooperates.  If not, I'll be on the trainer.  Sunday is long run day.  I don't care if it's raining.  I'll run regardless.  Have a great weekend everyone.

Whew!  Baby went crazy so I had to step away from the computer!

I got a trainer ride done today.  I really wanted to ride outside, but it was windy and I wasn't in the mood.  Running 7ish miles tomorrow.
