Been a really rough week...stuck in bed with a horrific cold/flu bug that's kicked me down hard. Couldn't even think of exercising. Had no appetite at all. Just starting to feel better so went out for a short run and pulled a muscle in my calf. That's what I get for not stretching! Think I'll ease back into it for now.
Today....178.6
Down 6.6 from 1/5/11

1/5/2011: 175
1/12/2011: 171.4
1/19/2011: 171.0
1/26/2011: 169.2 (Weight loss for the month 5.8 pounds!!!)

Yeah!! This means I met my goal for January of getting down to 170. So eating right AND working out really DOES work well together. Hmm, who would have thought that the two work so well together :-)

So since this is the last weigh in of the month, its time to make a new goal for February. Lets try another 5 pounds so the goal is 164 by the end of February.

Yikes, 216.6 this morning.
Going the wrong way!
I think some is water weight, so I am not too worried. My legs are super sore from a workout earlier this week.

Looking forward to health the rest of the week!

The bad news: I didn't lose any.
The good news: I effectively replaced all the calories from my 21-mile running week

222. Somebody shoot me now. Good job to you all who maintained or are down. For the rest of us, there's next week! Darn water weight!

Starting Weight (01/05): 149
Week 1 (01/12): 148.4
Week 2 (01/19): 147.4
Week 3 (01/26): 147.1

Not much weight lost from last week to this - but I didn't work out hardly at all over the last couple weeks due to illness and work stress, so I'm just happy that I 'maintained' and didn't gain back.

Nice work everyone!  the thing is just to stay on top of it and track it!  If you keep tracking it, you will start losing it.  Of course I say this on a day when I have no weigh in to report.  2 Weds in a row I have not gone to the pool.  Will have to weigh in tomorrow......

Good job to everyone who lost! And good job to those of you who didn't but are not giving up and keeping a positive attitude, those weeks are the tough ones.

Ultimate goal weight 145

Starting weight: 165.5
Jan 12: 163.5
Jan 18: 163.5
Jan 26: 159.5

Finally in the 150s again (Just barely-but it counts ). This is right around were I was before the holidays. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Down to 145.9.  I've been consistent with logging food and getting in a daily workout.  Consistent for about four days, at least.  Now to keep it going.

Whew,
Got in a morning ride for the first time in a while. Trying to get my head straight about health and eating.
Have to have the diet working, the workouts are just the extra icing on the fitness cake.

Is it too late to sign up, following info from my training log - when I set up the log my weight was 175 and it defaults back to that unless I make a change every day. I am in the habit of weighing myself every morning after "you know" and before breakfast. Would be happy with the mid 160's - but to be 159 on April 16th would give me a great advantage for my May 1st 70.s in St Croix (also toying with doing the Inaugural San Juan 70.3 on Mar 19th - entry closes Mon 31st Jan ) Weight log as follows,

Jan 1st 174#
Jan 8th 175# oops
Jan 15th 173#
Jan 22nd 172#

1/27/11  157 lbs.

basically no change from last week.

Work schedule is horrible (60 hr/week), got a banged up rib that is bugging me and some family health issues that are not looking realy good right now.  WoW!  Enough of my 'pity party'.

Hope everyone is well and feeling motivated.  Enjoy your weekend.

Haven't been able to train at all for the past 2 weeks. Terrible respiratory cold/flu that won't go away! So I'm pleased that I'm still holding pretty steady and not gaining!

Nice job!

No weigh in for me today.  Club is closed and we have a few feet of snow to dig out!
