Expert 789 Lake Forest, Illinois | Subject: RE: Racine Vs. Steelhead HIM Challenge - Lake Michigan Rivalry pigfinn - 2007-05-17 7:00 AM I am definitely doing the HIM at Racine, however I am not sure if I should compete in this. This will be my 2nd or 3rd tri, probably 2nd, and my goal is really to finish and to get through the swim without getting kicked in the face, gut or other body part, LOL!! but then again, can you make an entry for making it through the transitions while looking like a "disorganized ... I dont know what I'm doing kind of triathlete".... because I will probably qualify for that specific competition, LOL!! Aww common you gotta play! This is my first 1/2 too. Like Hangloose said this is just fo fun and for some inspirational chatter. If it were serious I wouldn't be in it since I have no idea what my finish time is going to be like at this distance. |

Wow, Even though we are in this heated challenge I hope you can do it. That would put you in great shape for getting a slot in Kona at Wisconsin!! That's exactly how it worked out for one of my training buddies that did Racine with me last year. He did 4:32 at Racine, 10:30 at IM WI (2nd in our AG !) and got a Kona slot. |

Birkierrunner doing sub 4:30. |

Crystal Lake, IL | Subject: RE: Racine Vs. Steelhead HIM Challenge - Lake Michigan Rivalry Todd - you're exaggerating quite a bit for some of us AND you left Coredump off your list, who really does have a good shot at sub 5 hours. It's not about time people, it's about attitude. It's about swagger. And we got it. Oh yeah, we got it. In fact, we're so hip it messes with our aero positions. Walk the walk, pigfinn, the time will be there! |

Walk the walk, pigfinn, the time will be there! yeah well I had to get to work so I took the list from the top. Your right coredump is not on the list and he is the man. When I first met him I was like. OMG I have to race him. Yeah I know what Steelhead is going through right now. The shear fear and panic of it all. Not knowing if I could even finish or worse Coredump just pass me up while he did "2 loops". I think if I was on team slackers I would just quit right now. yeah pigfinn. Come on your my big rival for the year. You are doing like almost every race I signed up for. We need you there. ITs about class. Team SOR is all about bringing more people in, having a good time, and winning is just something that happens. Team Slackers are all about driving out the slower people and bring in wringer after wringer. Sure in the end they might beat out company softball team but is it a win if they are all replaced by the New York Yankees? |

It seems all you people do is run worthless smack that nobody understands. Telling us we are a bunch of whiners and quitters and out recruiting wringers?
