Aww common you gotta play!  This is my first 1/2 too.  Like Hangloose said this is just fo fun and for some inspirational chatter. If it were serious I wouldn't be in it since I have no idea what my finish time is going to be like at this distance.

That's exactly how it worked out for one of my training buddies that did Racine with me last year.  He did 4:32 at Racine, 10:30 at IM WI (2nd in our AG !) and got a Kona slot.

Todd - you're exaggerating quite a bit for some of us AND you left Coredump off your list, who really does have a good shot at sub 5 hours.

It's not about time people, it's about attitude.  It's about swagger.  And we got it.  Oh yeah, we got it.  In fact, we're so hip it messes with our aero positions.  Walk the walk, pigfinn, the time will be there!

I've been around the endurance circles long enough to know that "saying" and "doing" are two veeeerrrrrryyyyy different things   You take what the day gives you.

Please join us!  We are just having fun out here but underneath all that we are here to support each other, learn from each other, be inspired and just have a good time!  You belong on the SOR team and we are thrilled to race with you!

Pigfin is in!  Maybe we need a rookie challenge; so we can all brag about finishing our first HIM.  Pigfin you can do it!!!  But I am SO going to crush you. 

In other words, "I'll see your Jazzwithnumbers and raise you a Tripletmom!"

We'll take your toast and raise you some Peanut Butter to put on it.  Then again, we'll be able to help Team SOR with your nutrition since we'll all finish ahead of you and we can go back for you.

Ahhhhhh, Dan has entered the fray.  Yet another Steelheader we can slap smack around.  Better load up on that Nuun and Recover Ease big boy......you're gonna need it (did anyone mention the drug testing protocol to you yet? )   

Who said anything about toast?  And Steelhead isn't even on your race list!   Is the Race Nexus too complicated for you?

It's fun to sit back and watch instead of having to be the instigator troublemaker vocal leader.  You guys are representing TEAM SOR perfectly.  Keep up the good work!

And Pigfinn - rookies are as welcome as the sub 5 hr guys.  It's about fun and you doing your best.  Besides, your rockin' new bike top makes you a star player on the team. 

Drug testing???  I'm all natural anabolic...can't you tell.  I guess in all fairness, in order for you guys to even have a chance I should take a nap in T1 and T2.

Race Nexus...whatever....And I'm stealthy like that...goes to input races...
