I guess I'm getting in a little late, but better late than never. G8R = GATORS as in University of Florida Gators. I am an alumni. That's a little understated. I bleed orange and blue, I guess is a little more appropriate.

Sax is because I play the saxophone. I got a ride through school on a music scholarship. I marched in the Pride of the Sunshine, Fighting Gator Marching Band!!! Greatest year in football history!!!!!

Picture to hopefully follow after my first tri this weekend. EEEKKK!!!

When you have a last name like Narenkivicius you have to shorten it sometimes hence 'jnarenki'

OK- I can't figure out how to do this! I downloaded some pictures from my digital camera but they seem to be TOO big. How do I shrink them down so I can store them easier and actually use them?!

If you have a Windows computer, you can open the pictures in Paint and use the stretch function to make them smaller. Go to "Image" | "Attributes" to check the number of pixels and then figure out what percentage will give you 100 X something... and then use the "Image" | "Strech/Skew" thingy to make it happen...

I'm a runner and my initials are LB. I'm trying to become a triathlete, but I'm not quite sure about this whole thing.

I'm trying to figure out how to take the following equation:
BOP + BOP + MOP = BOP -- results of my first 1/2 IM done last Sunday at Big Kahuna (race report posted)
and turn it in to:
MOP + MOP + MOP = Much more fun at tris!

I'm used to being a MOP, sometimes even close to the front of the MOP, in running and this BOP thing in the swimming and biking is really starting to get to me!!!

I used my horse's name. He is One Shot Tequila, His dad is Tequila Tab and his granddad is Mr. Bar Tab.

And to top it off, the only time I drink is when I go to Vegas where I MIGHT have one Pina Colada.

I have always had the nickname of Rowdy since the 84 Olympics in LA. I am a huge fan of Rowdy Gaines and watching him swim as a teenager and learining about his life was very inspirational for me.

Jumping into this thread really, really late..but what the heck:

Adder720...started in High School years ago...couldnt reach a buddy over the phone for help with Calculus and I knew he was probably on the CPU, thus no phone...so i needed to try a screen name....it took SO long to get a screen name that wasnt taken I was swearing that Calculus was past my fried mind...that I couldn't even ADD anymore...hence: Adder
72 is my lucky number....it was taken, so I added a 0

Adder720...yeah I'm a dork...

Grit = Slang Short for Garrett
Nugget = Sometimes spelled Nugent like Ted Nugent.... Nugget is actually pronounced like Nougat, but nougat has a nasty spelling to it. Nugget came from a camping trip experience back in my illicit high school days involving some wacky tabaccy. So I was dubbed the moniker grit_nugget ... this became my very first screen name for my very first online email account and its been with me ever since.

The picture of Mr. T isnt very funny unless you can read the whole thing. Look at the attachment!

LOL! Well that makes me sound like a dope, doesn't it?! I had no idea the temporary files didn't delete themselves. All sorts of people's avatars changed after I did that. Motivated got much uglier, for one.

Here's the pic I was referring to, in case you're interested.

I asked Motivated about his new picture on this thread a few posts ago too  - I guess he went into hiding

I can't believe you guys didn't like my glamour shot...the new one on the bike is all business and boring. I'm trying to find another photo to change it to...any suggestions? Should I go back to the glamour shot below?

Sorry Karl, but the escaped prisioner look was down right scary! I suppose you could simply scare your competition away at each race though !

LOL Karl.  I once went out on a blind date with someone who looked remarkably like that.  To this day I thank my wife for rescuing me.
