Wow and chatty weekend!  Just to let you all know I ate 4 cookies and a piece of cake yesterday!  I paid for it this morning though, as 7 miles into my bike ride I had to cut it short and head back home for some home field advantageSurprised!

Pretty cool having a challenge with a challenge eh!  Remember, if you achieve a goal on the week #3 results, you'll have to increase your goal at least 10% before you can get all 120%.   If you achieve your goal during week 4 you don't have to increase your goal to get the full 120%

I'm kicking some butt in the pool right now and am feeling strong again with much better form.  Biking is a bit behind especially after this morning.  I have the MTB at work though and if the  weather gives me a break today (T-storms) I'm out the door for an hour ride.  So including this mornings ride, I'm at at...

September's totals:
Bike:6h 16m 07s  - 94.78 Mi (38%)
Swim:4h 03m 01s  - 8589.69 Yd (71.6%)

I'm back in the pool this afternoon!

Go West! Rah, rah, rah!

Urgh. I am really behind. So sorry but I was sick all weekend and now I have something going on with my hip. It's so painful. Going to try a swim later however.

Wow, I really do suck.

Bike pledged: 840     Done: 316   37.6%

Swim pledged: 500   Done: 100   20.0%

However, I had a mammoth long run last week, and now only have two short ones on following weekends, so the rest of this month can be well-dedicated to biking and swimming.

Go ROW!

OK, that makes a little more sense then. 840 minutes=14 hours, 200 miles isnt that far, you'll get there. Good luck.

Subject: Week 2a Results - RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's

OK Everyone,
Here are the prelim results for Week #2.  I say prelim because it looks like 3 people went MIA training wise and I have sent some PM's.  Training wise, no team is ahead of the week 2 monthly curve (53.3%) Surprised.  Regardless,
East is out to a commanding lead now, great job East.  Things get tighter for the table scraps if the 3 MIA are removed, but East would still stay in the lead.

For those that had races this weekend, congrats and way to work it!  Everyone keep up the hard work, we're half way there!

I'm off track for the EC team but expected to be at this point in the month as I had tapered for one of my A races. I am now back in full training so expect my numbers to be much better these next few weeks.

Well, sucks for me but I had to travel to NY this week for work. Needless to say, I didn't even get to hit the stationary bike or the pool...I did get some runs in, but were not counting those . I plan to make it up this week though, long swims for Wednesday and Friday.

Ok, so I need to set a new biking goal. I really didn't anticipate getting the extra rides in, so let's see.

Need to think about it - I'll post a new goal a little later

Whoops. I "evil motivated" you so well that you went all out and blew your goal away.

But think of all those calories you'll burn this month.... You can even eat a TWINKIE as a reward.

(P.S. I think this Twinkie thing has gotten out of hand. It's taking on a life of its own. LOL)
