You were obviously not on a swimteam like some of us

Duh.  Do you ever look at my logs?

Of course looking at Shelly's logs you wouldn't think she was a swimmer either. Yeah - no speedos for the guys. No need for that at all.

I will ignore the first comment considering that I can so KICK your as$ in the water.

No speedos? Naked? That is crude.

Just like Luray right? Same rule applies to naked.... guys - no, girls - your choice.

In fact you are the only one on this thread that wears a speedo regularly.

Just sayin.

Haha - no I wear a drag suit or jammer both of which are MUCH different than a speedo.

Shelly123 just suggested that we extend the invitation to every single BTer across the world.  I thought I had already done that when referencing "wannabees," (duh) but now I am formally inviting EVERYONE to join this raucous party.  It's only a few miles from Dulles Airport.  So sack up and by yourself a flight.  I'll make sure you have a bike to ride.

Well, I personally believe you should go in the cat's outfit that I posted earlier, but, if you can pull this off:

That depends on whether you plan to invite ALL of your 'friends.'

Or maybe I'll just bring the cardboard ones. They can double as my free pass into the HOV lanes on my ride down .

The "Cats" costume is a very tempting choice, and possibly a bit more cycling-appropriate Not sure that I can cycle in a ballgown. But at least a sash, a tiara attached to my helmet, long gloves and a sparkly top would be close enough (I can't see the Youtube video at work - is it off Miss Teen SC?)

A quick summary of this event as I have deciphered it so far:

  • We will be meeting at some time on Friday, Oct. 26th, in Reston or maybe Herndon for a bike ride. Or run. Either location will involve the Dulles Toll Road during rush hour. Plan accordingly.
  • We should wear costumes that match our bike.
  • If we do not have a bike, 3558 will be leading some sort of raid on a depot of unused bikes. Bring your own lube.
  • Wurkit Gurl hates old people.
  • Lauren believes that we will start taking off  <------------EDIT------------->
  • There was talk of a carbo loading dinner for the MCM'ers.
  • Drinking might be involved.
  • Men, if you are not fat and old, Shelly needs to see you in a speedo.

Yeah, it's her answering the question:
"Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a World map. Why do you think this is?"

Listening to her answer, all I can say is: Are edukashun sistim ain't sew gud.

Steve - maybe you'd be interested in being one of the meeting spots seeing as you're in the area??? We could just volunteer you like we have others...but, I figured - since you have a wife (we've heard) and kids (that we've actually seen exist), maybe we'd do the asking first!

we could just have everyone throw a few bucks in the pot and reserve a room here https://www.homesteadhotels.com/booking/guestInfo.asp?hssite for changing (you pervs).  I take no responsibility for the direction of the conversation from here.

  • Wurkit Gurl hates old people.

  • I don't hate old people! I just feel awkward when there's a crowd of 30-somethings because I look like I'm stil in college and people often treat me as such, so it's weird and/or embarassing.

Oh, Pshaw! Some of us 30-somethings may well be still in college and we're all athletes, wurkit, so everybody looks great here as far as I'm concerned. Tommy (tnt2tri) may not pass for college - but, even he could easily pass for that young college professor all the truly young 'uns would coo over! Just come, be yourself and you'll be accepted...relax...nobody here cares about age even if you were younger than 27 or whatever it is. Trust me, 30-somethings and 40-somethings and whatever-somethings are not going to be uptight...you're talking to a group of crazy triathletes who are all getting together for a bike ride in full costume followed by drinks & whatever other fun we can dream up...not a Sunday afternoon tea...we'll all - even you "young 'uns" have FUN - that's the point!

They are just picking on you - trust me this group picks on each other all the time. Notice the fun Tink, Shelly, LC and NewLeaf have already had picking on me.
