Same rule applies to naked.... guys - no, girls - your choice.docswim24 - 2007-09-20 10:55 AM 3558 - 2007-09-20 10:43 AM Of course looking at Shelly's logs you wouldn't think she was a swimmer either. Yeah - no speedos for the guys. No need for that at all.shelly123 - 2007-09-20 10:35 AM
You were obviously not on a swimteam like some of us Duh. Do you ever look at my logs? I will ignore the first comment considering that I can so KICK your as$ in the water. No speedos? Naked? That is crude. In fact you are the only one on this thread that wears a speedo regularly. Just sayin. |

I thought I had already done that when referencing "wannabees," (duh) but now I am formally inviting EVERYONE to join this raucous party. It's only a few miles from Dulles Airport. So sack up and by yourself a flight. I'll make sure you have a bike to ride. |

Well, I personally believe you should go in the cat's outfit that I posted earlier, but, if you can pull this off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww The "Cats" costume is a very tempting choice, and possibly a bit more cycling-appropriate Not sure that I can cycle in a ballgown. But at least a sash, a tiara attached to my helmet, long gloves and a sparkly top would be close enough (I can't see the Youtube video at work - is it off Miss Teen SC?) |

Steve - maybe you'd be interested in being one of the meeting spots seeing as you're in the area??? We could just volunteer you like we have others...but, I figured - since you have a wife (we've heard) and kids (that we've actually seen exist), maybe we'd do the asking first! |

I just feel awkward when there's a crowd of 30-somethings because I look like I'm stil in college and people often treat me as such, so it's weird and/or embarassing. I just feel awkward when there's a crowd of 30-somethings because I look like I'm stil in college and people often treat me as such, so it's weird and/or embarassing. Oh, Pshaw! Some of us 30-somethings may well be still in college and we're all athletes, wurkit, so everybody looks great here as far as I'm concerned. Tommy (tnt2tri) may not pass for college - but, even he could easily pass for that young college professor all the truly young 'uns would coo over! Just come, be yourself and you'll be accepted...relax...nobody here cares about age even if you were younger than 27 or whatever it is. Trust me, 30-somethings and 40-somethings and whatever-somethings are not going to be uptight...you're talking to a group of crazy triathletes who are all getting together for a bike ride in full costume followed by drinks & whatever other fun we can dream up...not a Sunday afternoon tea...we'll all - even you "young 'uns" have FUN - that's the point! |
