![]() Staying in SF, and going to Napa all day on Saturday and staying in a BB and then back to SF. And Siliver OAks was on the agenda, so YAY!! Also visiting Artesa per my bosses affiliation and relationships there. SUIT weather....guessing not?? Too cold for this chica OMG, I cant wait! It will be lots of fun and copious amount of wine. You know i only put my SUIT on if it is above 85 degrees. 84 is cold to me :-) I was done with sales calls in Emeryville by 10;30. It's only an hour to the southern most vineyards (Stag's Leap). I totally loved Copolla: His wines are terrific anyway. The basic blended Rosso is a weekly in our house and under $10/bottle. The premium wines were terrific. I have 8 bottles total coming home with me. You're not buying these for a bargain either; they get their money. But you ARE buying some reserves and available only on-site. The 2006 Silver Oak should be a great bottle. |

He was busy talking to someone, but took the time to say hello and ask what the heck we were doing visiting a winery on motorcycles as we couldn't TASTE any of his wines! We told him that was why we bought some so that we could imbibe back at the hotel - he just smiled and said that would do. |
