I was thinking about a run too, but the legs are pretty beat up from the ride yesterday.

I also have to sign up for the marathon training team today.  Not sure if I should sign up as a beginner or intermediate.

rlejeune - 2009-05-22 7:17 AM In 24 hours I will be standing by the lake and I will be freaking nervous

You've done the training so at this point the nervousness is anticipation to finally get at it!

Try to take it easy as you start off the swim; with all the adrenaline it's really easy to start off way too fast. Concentrate on finding an easy, relaxed stroke and pace, and some open water, and stick to that for the first half of the swim. If you are feeling good and feeling frisky after that, crank it up for the rest of the swim. After the swim, listen to your body and set your pace by how you are feeling.

I did 2200m swimming this morning but may need an extra swim next week to hit 100%

I might have to do a run/swim/run brick next week to get everything in. I've wanted to try this for a while.

Me too!  But, I'm ahead on biking.  I guess I should probably raise my goal.

I'm not real sure what I'll be able to accomplish training wise while overseas, hence the reason for completing my goals so early.

I just signed up for an 8k (31st of this month), a tri in August, and the Richmond Marathon.  For the marathon, I'm doing a training team and that starts on the 30th.

Guess I should go do some training...
