MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

"Revolution3 Triathlon is excited to announce a brand new race and brand new race location for 2012! The month of August, 2012, Revolution3 will hold Olympic and Half Distance races at Wisconsin Dells, the waterpark capital of the world! Pro and age group athletes are invited to compete in both distances for cash prizes."

Nice to have another 70.3 option in the state!

Does this mean we can stay at the new Minnow Castle???

Sign up and find out!

Remember George for those of us w/ kids I'll bet Suzy has a pond and a pool.  And you know where we'll be.  ;-)

Oh, Sam, I bet if you (and the kids) are really good, she'll let you stay in Cooper's cabana, poolside.

You guys have a great time in Tennessee, relax as best you can and enjoy the time with your incredible, racing, family!

We have had a sudden blast of heat and humidity.  I'm trying to find the energy to get out there for my longest ride of the year.  The plan calls for 1hr 40min tonight.  It's 85 degrees.  Time to start adapting to the summer temps.  Two minutes until class is dismissed and I sent the "not-so-litttle darlings home for the day!  10 more daysof school and then I can do my summer vacation dance!!!!!!!  Laughing

Hey Jayne I'm not nearly that naive. I just have to hear how Tracy is going to answer this one. I'm expecting a full blown (pun fully intended ha ha ) explanation

Suzy told me in the past that adults are welcome, kids are not.  We might have to put the kids in puppy costumes to sneak them in.

Hi All.....George is right, adults are always welcome.  I think the kids would have more fun staying at the Dells anyway.  It's like the largest water park city.  Back in the day it was a cheesy town, but now it's totally transformed.  Could be a great way for me to show off my town too and get you interested in IM MOO!  We could ride the course from my driveway.  Kim can tell you about it when she is in town in September to entice you further!

Paul and I are off to TN tomorrow mid morning.  Not exactly the relaxed lead up to my first HIM of the season, but no excuses.  I've got my plan and am determined to stick to it!

Good luck to our other racers!  Kick butt, take names and report back promptly.....

I did a sweat test with my run this AM. I ran for 45 minutes with a 5 minutes cool down. I ran a steady rate for 20 minutes and then did 1:30 minute intervals with 1:30 slow between the intervals. It was about 70 degree Farenheit. I lost 4.2 lbs. in 45 minutes. Going on experience in another 15 minutes my sweat would have soaked through my shoes. I had not reached my peak sweat rate. 60 minutes would have yielded a 6 lbs. weight loss. So nothing has changed.

At that rate if you ran a marathon you would weigh less than me But really is it good to lose that much weight in only 45 minutes? Not in my opinion.

Not necessarily.  When I did sweat tests last week, all I had to do was keep track of the exact ounces I drank and add it in.

Have a great weekend racers!!

I've got a friend racing a 100km ultra this weekend down in the Blue Mountains in NSW (temp around freezing there at the moment), she had to be rescued last year after 85km due to hypothermia and a calf strain so this year is really important to her.

Think I'll stick to triathlons!

Good luck racers!  Take lots of pictures.

It's a beautiful day for running here in Beantown. Its days like today which make me content to endure commuting to Cambridge just to run around the Charles.  Been crazy busy; the hubs has been traveling lots interviewing and finally got another job (woot!), and when I'm not working, training or running after the kids I'm packing up our house for our move.  Close on June 1st.  CanNOT wait!

What is proper etiquette as to when you start the story for the RR?  When you left the house or when you leave the line??  Foot in mouth

Hey Dino. I'm not sure we have much etiquette in the group.   Generally I think we start with getting ready and leaving from the house. It sort of sets up the whole day with how organized you were and how you set yourself up nutrition wise. It is also an excellent reference source for future races.

Yes I guess I could do that, but my way doesn't require me to think that much. I really wish I was going to Knoxville too. Instead I will be overseeing the annual meeting of the non-profit woodworking organization. We will be under a large shelter ina park in the rain. Whoo Hoo! Sounds like fun? Big controversy over not allowing dogs this year. Ugh! Can't wait until the end of June so I can step down as President!

John please take lots of pics of the MG! Racers good luck and rock it!Even if there is rain, and stay safe!

Sounds like Dino already has a story to share. Looking forward to it!!

I'm in SUNNY Coeur d'Alene, about to head off to the pool for a 4K swim, then a hilly 5-ish hour ride, then a t-run. Forcast today is for a high of 78 degrees. Us water-logged Seattle folk are anxious to see what that feels like, and we all hope we don't die of heat stroke, ha!!! BRING IT!

TGIF!! (It is Friday, right? When I don't have my kids to schedule I totally lose track of the days!)
