Stupid upstairs roommate had one, b/c she bathes 7 times a day and probably has no immunity to anything cuz she's such a germ freak. And now I'm all susceptible cuz I can't run and am getting out of shape.

And really, this is in jest. I'm not trying to "pick him up", just tryingto get to know him to see if he's halfway decent. Literally, all that happened a couple of weeks ago was that I inadvertantly sat down next to him at dinner, realized "Dang, he's cute!" and enjoyed talking to him. So I will continue to chat with him when the opportunity arises and see what his deal is. But this girl has a pattern of behavior that is now repeating itself with this new guy. Blech, just last night, I had to bust out of there b/c one of the awkward dudes came right up to me and cornered me in the pew. No friends around at the moment, so all I could do was bolt. We have guys who are the male equivalent of this girl - just gets right in your face and obvious about it. He'd clearly made a beeline for me, b/c I got up and put my coat on, and turned around and he was right there...ick. |
