I quit smoking and needed something else to spend my money on!!! No really I quit smoking and started working out, was (trying) swimming laps on a regular bases and taking spin classes when Lauren Jensen told me I should do a triathlon! (I didn't know "who" she was other than David's mom) So I signed up cuz she thought I could do one! Fell in love and am so glad she had a faith in me that I didn't!

Yeee, we wanna see!

Hey, teamies -

I am at 44.26/50. I'm headed out of town until the 30th...I'm bringing my running shoes, but my not have Internet access until the evening of the 30th - I'll update that night. Don't worry, I can get the last 5.75 in no worries. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

So I've been letting myself down lately - and unfortunately my team comes down with me.  I'm not sure what happened...but yesterday I got on the treadmill...and could barely run 10 minutes!! I pushed myself a bit and went 15...then thought I'll try again this morning.  Nope! Even worse....a week ago I did 30 minutes!  I'm wondering if the really hot weather is bothering me.  This morning at 5 am, it was 72 but said felt like 88.  I know some of you guys are used to the hot weather - - I am not!  I don't know what to do - because I am not gonna be able to make my goal

The only thing my cat guilts me into is letting her sit on my lap....I wish she was more motivational than that...do you loan outyour running puppy?? 

I hit my goal.
I may still get another run in (and knowing me - I will) before month's end..but leaving for vacation tomorrow so who knows.

Can those of us who hit goal/or went over DONATE miles/time to those who fall short?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Some challenges will allow you to get to 110% of goal, but this one is capped at 100%

Another bike commute for me today.

I'm doing an OWS tomorrow, followed by a 4 mile run.

I'll do another run on Tuesday to hit my goal (or come reallllly close)

Well the we had more rain/thunder today (getting really sick of this) so I'm not sure if I'm going to take my new ride out for a spin or not. Definitely doing a long run though

That is one sweet looking bike!!!!!  If I couldn't ride, I'd just put it somewhere that I could look at it constantly.

Back home and planned to go for a swim.  No go.  Thunderstorms rolling through.  Maybe they'll stop soon.

Completed my goal today with an easy run while my daughter biked. Believe it or not my pace has increased slightly since this challenge began! Thanks June Run Challenge...and of course, thanks June Bugs!!

yeah, not much going on tonight.. its like people have social lives or something! :P

well I got in a nice run tonight, a little over 9 miles. I feel like this challenge has really help my run continue to improve, so glad I did it! and so glad I ended up on this team, we rock!
