Haven't been on the computer for a few days and just now logged in my only 2 workouts for the week.

Way to go all of the racers this weekend be safe and have fun.

As for weather on a bike I can handle the snow (if not sticking), rain, and especially the nice weather, But the wind I am getting tired of the beating and seeing the trees laying down puts me in grumpy mood.

EDIT: third section of the run course looks to be the toughest

Hi Kids

Definitely not the day I was hoping for in Knoxville.

Swim: Hyperventilated while treading at the start, swallowed a ton of air/water in what I thought was a reasonable swim only to find out post race it was a 52'.  Ugh.

Bike: Air issues in the swim, hit my gut hard on the bike.  Took almost 2 hours for it to clear.  Got behind on nutrition as a result.

Run: UGLY!  Never have I had body pain, but my mid back both right and left side were totally locked and sore.  I tried to massage it out and nothing worked.  Finally gave up and ran for as long as I could before it hurt to much and I walked.  Not sure if it was an extremely tight wetsuit on the run (yes, I think my swimming muscles grew again), bad position on the bike or something else.  Way too much walking....

Ah well, there will be other races.

Side note: The MG had a great time together.  Those of you who haven't been able to participate yet, consider it!  One point of discussion was doing REV3 Wisconsin Dells next August (HIM/Oly).....Fatty has already committed, so has Dino!

Suzy you are awesome to even continue to the finish with all those troubles.  Way to go. This should make for quite the RR.
As for a Wisconsin Rev 3 I'd certainly commit to it next August. It would be a great way to celebrate turning 60.  Only about 6 or so hours away so not so bad.

That would be great!  Now if we can get some of our coaster's to commit we have ourselves a PARTY!

Great effort racers!!!

Sounds like you all had fun, how much of a step up in training and endurance is a HIM? I know what the distances are but does it FEEL much harder, I quite like the idea of a slower, longer pace.

Redknight - 2011-05-15 3:05 PM Totally awesome showing Rev group. Now let's hear from our other weekend racers.

Warrior Dash 2011:  I survived.

My mud-covered stopwatch said I finished in 48:41.  Didn't see the chip time, but I can't imagine it's too much off that.  This year's course was way harder than last year's.  And I got to finish with Marla's question:  I'm bleeding, where?  Report coming later; first, I am taking a nap.

Hmmnnn, I've never been to Wisconsin.  I am willing to give the Oly distance a shot if I can build up to the distances by then.
