So doo yoo have dat wiscaansin accent from living up dere? My boss pronounces it that way too! During a meeting, I kept focusing on how she would say "tag" with a long a (and she said it a lot because we are rebuilding the inventory system, so we were discussing count tags) and I nearly missed everything that was important. But she's from ND... is it just a spillover thing from WI? |

But it's not so much da heat, it's dat gosh dern humidity. Haha!! You reaally know us ways up here in Wisconsin. I I never realized the "a" thing until you pointed it out. ND is just a skip and a hop away, so the accent may rub off a bit. I have a friend who grew up in WI, and is now in school in MN, and she has a slight accent(well, what's an accent to ME) ....I want to say "would you quit talkin like that". But, my sister has lived in MN for 8 yrs and she doesn't have any different accent. I still say I have no accent! I actually have grandparents who live in Milwaukee so I'm up there at least once a year... I get to pick up on the accent a bit. Too bad GB is so far north from MKE--we could go for a run next time I was up there and you could most likely run me into the ground. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: BT girls of 2008 I know, less talk, more action. But this is a special picture. The boys--and girls--of BT have been so gallant in here, and it's been a long time since I posted such a pic (wait, you say, there's more?) ... just for fun and to celebrate my weight loss. But this one comes during a very wrenching time in my life, and tonight, inspired by my fellow Horny Melons, I decided I needed a fun spot. To my great surprise ... I don't look how I feel, and now I feel a bit better knowing that. Oh, and here's an I-can-too-clean-up-good pic as well.
