I am way behind my biking goal. Went for a long ride yesterday, with a run (bricky, bricky......) and was suppose to take another long ride today but realized this morning that I had a flat tire and no spare tube.... so instead i mowed the lawn, did some yard work, and an excellent BBQ with wine....not too bad for a Sunday!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

I forgot to post the week 3 results yesterday, so here's where we are:

  1. Tabasco: 88.23%
  2. Quintana Roo: 80.69
  3. Puebla: 61.25%

Team Tabasco has held the front spot for three weeks now. Time to run them down!

The challenge ends on May 31. Please have your results onto the spreadsheet by noon on June 1st. I will announce the final standing shorter after.

I did a 5k race today. It went pretty well. I matched my PB race race from the 5k in April. No idea of the official standings yet except I know I wasn't 1 or 2 in my age group.

2x race bonus!!! (I need it!)

I was wondering, should I apply the injury for my running goal on the spreadsheet? Because it does hurt us right now

I did PT last night (haven't logged it yet) and am planning on a 5 mile run today.  I'm going to focus on running for the rest of the week.  If I follow the plan in my log, I'll get all of my goals done.

Nicole, I just checked my log. I haven't run since the 9th. With three exception, my Duathlon, my triathlon and a 3km to test my ITBand at some point. You asked me to removed the 3km from the speadsheet and I did. As for my races I counted them into the challenge.

Does that mean that I have to remove 64.5% of my running goal? 20 days out of 31 where I didn't run would mean 64.5%. I have an appointment with my doctor tonight and I will see when he thinks I can run again and I will adjust the % after that but I wanted to make sure I was doing the calculation right. I did use 31 days in May minus 9 days since I ran till the 9th and I also remove two other days for both races.

Seems right or not? Thank you in advance.

I went for a run - 3.12 miles instead of the 5 that I wanted to do.  Running has really not been going well for me.  It hasn't come back as quickly as I was hoping after injury.  I decided today that I need to work at it slowly instead of just assuming that I could train the way I did last year.  It's frustrating.

No worries, though.  I'll do what I have to do to have my goal done by the end of the month.

Yes, remove 64.5%, or considering what your doc said, remove the rest of the month, too.

Does your doc think you'll be able to start again in June? You've got an aggressive race schedule!

He said I could restart running in a week normally, but only two days a week to start and then I should be able to get back to 4/5 days a week.
