Just tuned in...Snowsill clearly has the 1st, and Bennett looks great for 2nd...but what about the other Americans:  Haskins and Swail-Ertel?  Anyone seen them??  I'm worried about Haskins.  Hope she's not DNF'ing

Haskins came out of T2 in 14th, last graphic showed her at 11th. Ertel was having a hard time hanging on on the bike and I think she's pretty far back there.

Haskins is 1:24 off lead

Ertel struggled on last leg of bike, but held on to front pack.  and is 2:15 off leader

Haskins came into T2 with the lead pack, but looks like she couldn't handle the run pace with the leaders.  Julie came in a bit off the back as she got dropped on the last bike lap by 15 or 20 seconds.

Oh...Sarah Haskins is still running but 1:25 behind.  Not much hope for her to medal.

Having tuned in late, I can't wait to see what I missed in the swim/T1/bike/T2 stages, but esp. the bike.  It looked like an intense course on the NYTimes preview given by Jarrod Shoemaker.

Man, Snowsill is just flat walking away with this.  She's going to be cooled down before the rest of the field finishes.

Yeah, IDE of Japan just passed her.

Oh, and what's in Snowsill's top?  A GU shot?  An inhaler?

I think she was hungry - looked like she was following a craft-services cart.  Maybe she DOES need a gel... :P
