There's some things I miss about small kids...the hourly wake up call is definitely NOT one fo them! |

Master 2339 somewhere over the rainbow | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge so i moved. i did about 20 minutes of strength, then ran for half an hour. oops. i forgot to log the strength. i logged the run though. i wish the rain would mellow out so i could ride my bike a bit. i miss my friend. (i call my bike pepper) there's no colors on her, although i think she's earned some spicy red accesories. i'll have to hit my LBS (and hopefully not frighten anyone. ) i need a bento box, and i think red tape up front would look real smart. yeah, i can totally visualize it. *happy sigh* |

In those cases I get up early and do it before going to work. I'm in the same boat. I'm really not looking forward to getting up at 4:30am on Friday just to get in my workout for the day, but I gotta do what i gotta do |

Impressive! I am also glad to see that we have some early rising in the thread! Sometimes I just need small work breaks and this is my favourite distraction! I'm usually in the early riser club but not so much today . I'm being particularly lazy, but I'll still get some kind of workout in because, you see, I am an endorphin junkie and if I don't, I might start to twitch.
Ahhhh. I know all about the twitches and the shakes. If they're bad enough people around me will threaten to chase me just so i can get a run in |

And definitely not with fins. I think it's going to be a longer term fix, just have to be careful not to aggravate it too much. |

Felt fine after a few days. I think I've just put in too much this season and my body isn't happy right now. It wants me to go into off season mode. I'm trying to get through the next 2 weeks, then off season on the trainer (gotta beat Jen and Kristen on the bike next year, they both passed me in races this year)QueenZipp - 2008-11-03 8:59 PM Nov 15...I have just about 2 weeks to get healthy When did that whole hip thingy happen and how??? Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge My boss is um more difficult about time to workout. I have a college who works the same position in a different location, (farther away from my boss than I am) he gets out 90 min before I do every day, never comes in early and it is all good. I offer to come in early 3 days a week so I can get 1 hour late on Wed and 1 hour leave early on Friday and it is like I am asking for the moon. Nothing happens at those times, ever so it is not like I am mssing anything. The work all has to get done anyway, it is not like I have been late on anything in 8 years. ...... Oh well, rest day almost over, we see if the legs have any juice tomorrow. |

I've got the mindset that as long as the work gets done and you're putting in the hours you need to what's it matter when you come and go. Apparently some people don't think that way. |

Way to get the trainer ride done already. I'm going to try to swim (I know, don't faint anyboday) later but much will depend on how long the line is to vote. Could be an unplanned rest day for me if it eats up too much time. |

In my old position my boss was sitting in Germany and as long as I got the job done an my 40 hours a week, I was free to come and go whenever... I will see how that's going to work now, that my new boss is sitting right around the corner. |
