I'm still planning on going out, unless the weather looks really terrible around that time. 

I don't think I'm going to be able make it out now, stuck at work a while longer

I am not going looks bad out towards the lake.

Rain is okay but the lightning kills.  Plus I just needed a lame excuse not to show up.

Haha! I thought about you when swimming yesterday. I tried a pair of small (normal) goggles, and when I put them on with a dry seal, they leaked. But once they got wet, they were good.  BUT I cannot use these goggles!! They leave horrible red/purple lines under my eyes with huge bags above them!!!!  FOR DAYS!  This is why I went to the mask in the first place!!!  I may just use the small goggles for racing....kind of like horse blinders.....help me not see the whole mêlée out there!! But for everyday training I am going to have to stick with the big mask! I did lots of reading on line about the permanent damage goggles do to "older eye skin" and yeah....I am vein enough to NOT want to look like this 24/7 .

SauseEnte - 2009-05-25 11:36 AM Is anyone going to swim this week? I would like to come and bring the beer too since I've never had the pleasure.  I'm still in Germany but am flying back tomorrow and will check back in here Wednesday morning.

I'd like to but I think I'll be locked up putting the final touches on the section of the CPA exam that I've been studying for. As of right now I've put in 81 hours! Tonight I take a practise exam to see where I'm weak and then I'll probably put in another 20 hours before my test Friday night. So much for enjoying myself after graduation!

no wetsuits needed. The water has been great!
