Spreadsheets:

For the spreadsheets that I've put up, you can always access them via the link on the first post of your team thread. (Or on your team links table, if that's been created for your team.)

Please do NOT worry about changing the spreadsheet "total" columns. Just enter your goals. Later this week, I will correct any issues with the "total" columns. (Yes, I will make sure your numbers are counted in the Team Totals. LOL)

Thanks!

I thought I went easier than I should, but my quads are fatigued tonight!  I like the workouts w/ short intervals -- unfortunately they aren't all that way.  It pays off fer sure!!

Yeah, I am right there with you Susan.  I wish I had gone out a bit harder but I sure was tired at the end of it.  I'll do a few things differently tomorrow!

Okay, got the kids all ready for school and lunches packed.  Well, except for Cole.  He has a doctor appointment this morning (please, doc, increase his med and add another!!!!).  15 minutes and they are out the door!

I'm running this afternoon.  I really need a new training plan.  I have loaded the winter bike focused but I have not been following it.  I guess I'll just stick with Jorge's plan and run on the other days and swim on Monday.  Until it is time to start focusing on the winter half marathon and then the early summer HIM.

Okay, enough rambling!  I'm off for a bit.  See you all later!

I definitely could use some "fast" in my swimming...  I am not speedy in the pool (30min/mile)and then when I get to an OWS - watching me swim is like watching paint dry (45min/mile)...  Maybe some masters swimming sessions...

Morning Turkeys!  Today's workouts don't have anything to do with our challenge but I sure am cold!  25* run this morning, swim tonight.

Great job getting out in the cold and running!  I'm definitely going to have to work on my mindset for the cold, at least it has been pretty nice here in the afternoons.

To run or not to run...  I need to run, I want to run (never thought I would say that), but I think I should wait a few more days.  The knee still bothers me from time to time during the day...

Not worried about the challenge as much as the half marathon in about 5 weeks...  Longest run todate is a 6 1/2 miles - I need to add about a mile a week between now and then...  Sitting on the sidelines for about 3 weeks now is driving me crazy...  Got a dr appt next Tuesday to check it out if its not better...  Maybe I will try to wog a couple of miles tonight to see how it is.

Join the Crappy Winter Weather Challenge and you'll be rewarded for getting out in the cold -- it's the only reason I didn't wait til it warmed up a bit today.

I did my HIM in August w/ longest training run being the 10k I ran the weekend before and I was ok.  IMO it's better to heal the knee than worry about increasing the distance.

Heal the knee first.

You are asking your body to do to much by increasing your distance so much between now and your half mary.  Remember the 10% rule.

Half mary's are a dime a dozen.  Wait for the next one.

Already paid up...  maybe I will put on a walk/run effort at a 2 or 3 to 1 run to walk rate....

^^^^^X2. Not worth making things worse...then you wont be running at all!!!!

I was able to swim, run and lift today. I havent gone over 1500 in the pool in a while, and my shoulders are a little sore.
I am thinking about doing Jorges plan. I rode the trainer yesterday but the weather here still is nice enough to be outside.Winter is long enough I dread the drainer!!!!!
