Got my first swim of the month year in yesterday...and boy are my arms tired!  I have a little DOMS today - my intercostals are the worst.  It hurts to laugh!

After I get out of work tonight I have a date with the treadmill.  Nothing like a midnight run to get you all ready for bed.

Man, you guys are killing me with all the food talk (as I eat pizza.....) Girl scout cookies were the best part of being a brownie when I was a kid. Thin mints and those peanut butter ones... yummm.I had my weekly session with the personal trainer today, got my butt kicked like usual.

Yeah, I also have a weakness for jelly belly's this time of year. I bought one of those "little" bags last week at lunch time. So, I'm snacking on just a few and all of a sudden they were gone! I think I ate at least 400 calories of jelly beans in about 15 minutes. I was so sick (more at the thought) that I had stick with only a salad for dinner. Hopping on the treadmill now so I can stay away from those cookies!!

I like the Dove chocolate eggs. They're about 40 calories each, so if I'm good (only 1 or 2) they are a really nice treat.

Got my short run in tonight and avoided the cookies. Youngest daughter puked right before I picked her up from day care, so even though she acts and says she feels good we are out of day care tomorrow. I'll have lots of time at home! Assuming she doesn't get sick again...

Ok, I didn't feel like doing my interval run as planned, so I did a 6-mile tempo instead.  It was a group run that meets at a bar, so I had some free beer and quesadillas after Laughing  But I did also have an apple and some of the salad, so it was kind of sort of maybe a little healthy?

I still have a headache but I'm at work today.

I will run tonight. I don't think I will swim though because I'm still having sinus issues.

On the GS cookie front... My husband brought home a box from chuch on Sunday. The entire box was gone BEFORE lunch was ready. I know there aren't that many in a box, but come on.

He has some more ordered, that girl wasn't there. I think I will have to confiscate and ration those.

Hubby ordered some but he will keep them in his lunch box! Need to keep this weight going in the right direction!
I love that this is such a chatty group! Unfortunately work will get in the way today! I teach a lot! cycle, 2 water and a yoga stretch then swim laps and teach again tonight!

Hey Kim I've been doing a little bit of yoga at home. Do you know anything good for stretching your piriformis? I've had issues on the one side forever, and recently I've noticed the other side spasming. I'd like to nip it in the bud before it gets bad.

Hey Kim I've been doing a little bit of yoga at home. Do you know anything good for stretching your piriformis? I've had issues on the one side forever, and recently I've noticed the other side spasming. I'd like to nip it in the bud before it gets bad.


Ann(e) - google it and the first or second one will show some awesome stretches for it.

The best one is putting one leg folded under the knee while the other leg is stretched out length wise behind you and then leaning forward.  Wow - you can feel that one for sure!
