KWDreamun - 2012-08-08 6:24 AM Got a swim in yesterday afternoon, and a swim/run this morning.  If ya'll don't know I am just learning to swim and am finally getting comfortable in the water.  When I sarted swimming in March, I could only go maybe 10 yards, now I can swim a lot more.  YEAH, I've been taking lessons and thought it would NEVER come but it did.

Great job. Off to check your log to see what the swim workout consisted of

Good morning everyone!

How are the workouts going? I apologize for being a slacker when it comes to updating the spreadsheet, it seems like there is never a dull moment at my house and I have trouble getting to it. I am helping with a kayaking class tonight, but I do have some time before that that I should be able to get caught up.

Wow I just had the most fun ever running intervals with my super duper inhumane fast friend.

Warmup - 30 sec sprint/30 sec cooldown/30 sec sprint/30 sec cd/1min S/1min CD/1min S/1min CD/1.5min S/1.5min CD/1.5m S/1.5m CD/2 S/2 CD and back down to 30 seconds and a cool down run back to the car.

I know you are all very jealous of this and since it was such a hard workout I am multiplying my time x 1,000,000.

I have now won the challenge

That is a sweet workout. Sometimes when I am bored and want to suffer I do the Tabata protocol at the end of a run. I feel that for days. 20 seconds on and 10 seconds rest for 8 minutes.

A lot of good workouts being done here - keep it up!! I haven't updated my spreadsheet for a few days but watchout when I do. Spending 3 days at a state park with 25 cross country girls gave me many, many minutes of running and strength work. I haven't been this sore in a long time. It was a blast!

Darren that sounds painful - I am not going to forward this workout to my buddy

I might have to keep that in the memory banks for when I feel human again!!!

Thank Suzie

Did an easy 2 miler tonight to help recover.  Tomorrow is most likely a rest day.

Just wondering if I could ask a personal favor of everyone.  My step-brother (who was like my brother growing up) wife found out she has breast cancer and is meeting with the surgeon on Monday.  I would appreciate prayer or good thoughts sent Suzanne and Kevin's way.  They do mamo's every 6 months so hopefully this got caught early.  Thanks in advance everyone - they will really appreciate all the support!

Will do, Bill

Some challenge Get lazy and fighting something off and you cascade down the "leaderboard" .

Figure I have about 120 minutes of running on Saturday (2nd standalone HM in my life - did this same race 20 years ago)  but not sure what else over the next 6 days.  Get to have some altitude training though - sleeping at 10,900 ft should be fun!!!!

Just biked and ran so far.  Overslept which I NEVER do, so i just did hill repeats instead of going long.
