On that note, Monica, I will be passing through your lovely city in a few days driving from NJ to MN.  Chicago could be stopping point or at least a short break from the car.  Would you, Tony and your imaninary friends be available for a coffee break?

When will you be driving through? 

As I don't do that whole 'work' thing, it's more than likely that I'll be available.     I can't speak for Tony as he needs to keep working to keep me in the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed - but depending on when you'll be coming through, he might arrange to get unchained from his desk. 

Question for the experts.

I am making an appearance at ChristianGray's art show tomorrow night. He mentioned he would likely be really busy working at the event so I might want to bring a friend.

None of my girlfriends can/will go.

Is it bad etiquette to show up with a guy friend? Or is it better to show up solo and look awkward.

Today is my last day at work before I head out to South Carolina for a head race and to go backpacking.

I need to go backpacking before I KILL someone.  I am severely lacking in tolerance and my Give a Damn is way busted at the moment.

You can come backpacking with me to reduce stress.

ohai TAN. I am back from surgery.

I feel like I got punched in the face, which I suppose is better than feeling like I had a tooth, diseased tissue and some bone carved out of my face.

HA! When we got our library cards, I opened the bill flat in front of her and she actually refolded it to only see my address. Said something like "We don't need to see EVERYTHING." Makes me wonder how much she'd been subjected to before. Poor woman.

I had pizza last night at a local pizza place. It was the best pizza I have had in a while.  This pizza place is not a chain. This place makes their own dough.  I saw the girl with green hair tossing and stretching it out just perfectly (green hair may not be essential for making a pizza crust but empirically one could not argue that it does not help).  They make their own sauce starting with fresh tomatoes.  They buy locally produced mozzarella and other ingredients.  I ordered a small pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, fresh tomato, red onion, and basil, and green olives.  I had a glass of perfectly acceptable Chianti.  AND, I got to have dinner with Janicewhokeepsmehumble.  It was a perfect dinner.  Plus, I have two slices left over for lunch and supper today. 

Celebrate the victories in life.  A good pizza balances out a lot of things on the other side of the ledger.

I am glad you have the surgery behind you.  Now, you start getting better.  This bad tooth may have been weakening your system for some time.  You are due a run of good health.  I'm going to put in for a 100 days of health for you, no injuries, no tropical diseases, no problems.

The pizza was that good.  Now, I shall go for a run.  This makes four days in a row.  Also, a good thing for balance.  When I get back, there will be a slice of leftover pizza waiting for me.  Ya'll have a good lunch.
