Needless to say, I didn't even get to hit the stationary bike or the pool...I did get some runs in, but were not counting those . I plan to make it up this week though, long swims for Wednesday and Friday. We have confidence in you!!!! |

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's Sorry I haven't done much this month at all. I had planned an indoor bike and swim yesterday but my poor wee doggy died and I'm just in such a slump. Going to aim for a short swim and bike ride after work today. God knows I need it. |

Pro 6582 Melbourne FL | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's OK, I'm going to stir-up the pot! I heard back from 2 of the 3 MIA participants, both requested to be dropped due to a thing called life. Haven't heard anything from the 3rd but logs are still dead so I'm assuming. So what's this mean, it means East team better watch their tail because the big dogs are chomping, LOL! The spread is down to 5% points now with the West team only a 1/4% away. Oh Nelly, we have a battle to the finish happening! There better be some smack talking flying after this... Keep up the good work everyone, it'll payoff in the end. I'm going to work hard the rest of this week to meet my swim goal by Sunday so that I have to do another 10% before I can get any extra credit. I can't believe that I actually like to swim again!

Veteran 164 Newmarket, Suffolk | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's Hi fellow swim/bike challengers! I'm doing the City-to-Shore MS-150 at the end of the month (a big part of my bike challenge for this month) and am still trying to meet my fund raising goal. My goal is $1500, and I'm only at $400. This cause is important to me because one of my best friends growing up, her mom has been suffering from MS for as long as I can remember. She's been wheelchair bound for about the last 8 years, and at this point essentially can't take care of herself. She is an amazing person who has been so supportive of me my whole life, and I want to be able to give back to her, even in some small way. The money raised in this campaign goes not only to helping fund research to find a cure for MS, but also helps to support those individuals already living with MS. Any little bit can help, and I would really appreciate any help you guys can give! The link to donate is below!! THANKS!!!! |

Central will be there in the end!! No worries, if someone has already met their goal by week 3 results they have to add on at least 10% before they can earn extra credit. I'll be one of those for the swim portion. I had no idea I was going to see this much gain with the swim! ROW will Rock! |

Central will be there in the end!! My thoughts exactly! Go Central!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Um uh.... But Last, didn't you need to up your bike goal? So, hum - was it 'cause of option A, or option B? I think I know the answer --> Evil Dee's smack talk lit a fire under you. Actually, I may hit my swim goal by the end of this week (not sure yet - it'll be close), which means I'd need to increase my goal, too. I had no idea I was going to do this much in the pool. (I'm already way over my entire August swim total!) Who knew..... But it's a good thing. I think. My arms are ready to fall off. LOL On the other hand, my biking is lagging behind. I'll have to correct that - we do NOT want the East Team to lose its lead!!!! Go East! Dee |

Maybe the losing team should have to change their avatars to a photo of a BOX OF TWINKIES for the next month. Story time: I arrived at the gym today, while scarfing down chocolate chip cookies. Yes, I know.... I don't even particularly LIKE them, but I was hungry and that's all I could find. (My fault: I missed lunch.) This guy saw me and said, "Hey, good dinner there. But do you HAVE to eat them just outside the gym?" It was kind of embarrassing. LOL |

I think the penalty idea would be a good motivator.. I'm on a taper week for a race and still have lots of green and purple to squeeze in - gonna go easy on yellow and get it done, but avoiding a twinkietar might be a nice little boost! whoop whoop CENTRAL |

LOL, that's funny. Yeah, it would be kind of tough to explain why someone's displaying a "Twinkietar." And I'm sure people would be asking! To get you even MORE motivated: I did a Google image search on "Twinkies." There were 12,800 images! Who knew..... At least the losing team will have quite a wide selection to select from! |

I'm only at 152 for the month. (I'd better concentrate on biking next week. I don't want to display a Twinkietar! LOL) Maybe next month, we should have the "Karl Swim Challenge"? |
