SO,

Swedish fish:

Can anyone tell me they are NOT awesomeness defined, borderlining on miraculous?

My grandparents used to own a country store.  Every year for Christmas my brother and I would each get a whole box, like five pounds worth, of swedish fish... total awesomeness.

So today my wife is turning in her tenure portfolio for review.

I have been helping her put it together for the past couple of nights... the guidelines told her to put her pages in page protectors--you know, those plastic sleeves... and each section needed to be separated with tabs... except when she put it together, the tab sheets didn't stick out past the page protectors.  So last night I sat and cut a couple of unused tab sheets into one inch strips.  Then I taped those strips to the already labeled tab sheets so they would stick out past the page protectors... ugh.

Oh, and then I burned some cds of my wife's recordings to put into the  packet.  But we are all done now.  It's all over except for the people who are going to tear her apart... which for some reason is bound to happen despite all that she does.  It's like a rite of passage.

Ah, that was nice of you to help!  I see pizza and coffee in your future!

I get promissed coffee each time the wife wants a favor (running joke).  She owes me about 10k's worth now...

I fly every week. It gets old. So I wanted to drive since I never get to drive. But I'm starting to recall how crappy it is to A) Drive out of Chicago and B) Drive across Illinois and C) Drive across Iowa.

I'm pretty sure Cold Stone already does that here....

I was thinking the could make the actual ice cream flavored with "swedish fish flavor" with tiny bits of fishy goodness mixed in.
