Featherweights like the cold, too. But I draw my "like" line at about 45. After that, I have suck it up and get out there moments...lucky to live here where the worse is gets is high 30's or hailed upon.

Well I just back from a butt a$s cold lunchtime run that was not fun. It's in the 20s here w/ 30-40mph wind gusts and it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had to pick, I'd go with hot as hell over this.

Hey now, you all should just be happy to have the ability to run!!!!

Yep, I tell myself that every time I catch myself belly aching about the (pick one) - heat, humidity, wind, cold, rain, etc. etc. etc.

YES!!! I am where Steve was a few weeks back with a nagging cold... All I want to do is put in miles. And all I'm doing is taking cough medicine (spiked with codeine at night, whoopee!), hot tea, vitamins, etc. Would love to be out in our blustery day today, but it ain't meant to be.

I just came back from my swim and set a PR for 100 yds.: 1:25! I was WINDED at the end. Since I am a long way from totally rehabbing my running lkegs, I'll take inspiration and motivation where I can get it.

Oh, and seeing things from this side of injury I agree with Birdy: Be glad you can run at all.

Hey Peeps! I have been checked out for a while due to travel and life but hopefully can re-enage for a while.

I caught up on all of the posts and want to give a huge CONGRATS to everyone who raced in LV and to Glen and Julia on their races a few weeks ago. Also to Sam and Tony for their race last weekend.

Winter cold has invaded NY and we might see some snow tonight. We do a lot of skiing in the winter so I am not complaining about the snow...just the 18 deg. high temperatures and sub zero wind chills!

Watched the Biggest Loser Finale last night too. Interesting how they are adding 2 new trainers for the next round, both of which have 'fighting' background....one was a Golden Glove Champ, the other a Martial Arts champ.
