The guy at my LBS swore to me that these help a hangover, and he is TOTALLY right! My fav is the orange ginger. Yum! (Oh yeah, and they're good for running, too!) |

Not really. I was on a challenge team with Phil a few months ago and it was kind of like the Emperor getting his hands on Anakin Skywalker, except without the cool lightsabers. |

Remember the cheesecake that your mom used to make from Philadelphia cream cheese and graham cracker crumb crust.... Now take a second one and turn it over on top of the first to make it double-ly good... Now make it oreo crumbs instead of graham cracker crumbs.... Put some chocolate streaks on a plate.... Set 1/6th of this deliciousness on top of chocolate... Top with whipped cream and a blackberry.... -----That is what I had for dessert..... I had to search back through the previous challenges to find this post, but check out this cheesecake.... Chocolate coconut cream cheese king cake. I'm stilll trying to find the right occasion/excuse to order one. Maybe I should tell the family it'd make a great father's day gift! http://www.bakesmartonline.com/ambrosia/selectproduct.php?sub=King%20Cakes%20for%20Shipping That has to be at least 1000 calories a bite! YUMMMMM!!! |

With all the racing I've done the past few weeks I haven't had much time to give this race much thought.....till now Good luck, Neal....you will be awesome! |

It's another crazy day in paradise -- started out with a steamy, humid, consequently slow run though! I hope everyone has a fabulous day. It sounds like summer is in full swing for you! It's still gray and cold here. I don't get it, it's JUNE. It should be warm and sunny. Not rainy and in the 50s. Boo. I'm heading to Cleveland for the weekend, and hope to get some decent running weather. It's miserable to trudge through the humidity -- feels like I'm swimming instead of running. I hope you get good cool weather in Cleveland! I hate the humidity....I couldn't live in Fla! Edited by starrlinda 2009-06-12 10:44 AM |

In TX now and had one go right over our house last night! All is well, so far (still storming) - just minor roof damage and tree branches everywhere. At least I still have electricity and internet --- Wes That is scarey! Glad you are alright! Take cover! |

Cattle prods and tasers mix really well with pool water. (Especially if I add a little salt to the water first.) D001 - 2009-06-11 8:30 PM ashort33 - 2009-06-11 9:26 PM Well, it was originally cattle prods.... Then I discovered tasers. D001 - 2009-06-11 5:17 PM disturbed275 - 2009-06-11 6:16 PM SO I'm deciding to forgo my group run tonight in hopes of having some fresher legs for Saturday. Don't worry though. I still plan on hitting my goal. I'm not worried. I have a nice collection of tasers and cattle prods. And lots of spare batteries for them. OHHH.... Cattle prods now is it? Now I am truly frightened!!! I swear I will make my goal! I am going to go run in the morning! I promise! Who needs a taper for sprint anyway.... OUCH! |
