hey all... late night here...

just came back a little while ago from a congregation where the pastor had an affair with the secretary... oi vey.  It's a good congregation so it will weather this storm... but man oh man... some very hurt/angry/sad/grieving people.

Morning TAN.  This morning I get to go run a booth at a customer's open house. It's 2 hours away and is going to run until 7.  Fantastic!  I just love blowing an entire day for something like this.

Ryna: Good luck with hunting man, sucks that they came by just after sundown.

Morning everyone.

Does it make me a bad person that I laughed?

Was back on my bike after my crash and crusing on the same trail where I fell.  Came up to a blind turn and there was someone going pretty slow in front of me so I slowed down rather than fly by her around a blind turn.  Some dude comes flying by the both of us not saying a word (wearing his full matching kit with shoe covers of course...) goes around the turn, then enters the section where I fell, a really curvy section.  I was thinking to myself, that was as fast as I was going, next thing I know, bam, he drops his bike in the exact same spot.

Now if he hadn't been an impatient a-hole and flown by me and another person around a blind turn I probably wouldn't have laughed but since he did, I did.

I did stop to make sure he was ok at least, he was fine just a bit of road rash.

good morning tan.

this morning i was standing outside watching my dog do his business when this little squirrel ran up and stood about a foot away from me.  i have sandals on and i'm afraid this squirrel will bite my toes, but i know shadow will chase the squirrel off as soon as he's done peeing.  and he tried!  but the squirrel would not run away!  it kept running up to my door and shadow bit him and then he hid in the neighbor's rose bush.

should i bring shadow to the vet??

Did the dog bite the squirrell or did it bite your dog?

If the dog bit the squirrell I think you should be fine, other way around you might want to have him checked just to be safe,

my dog bit the squirrel.  i wish i had a camera, he had him smooshed and bit him right on the back like it was one of his toys.  his vaccinations are current (i think)

Call them, thats what I do. They might have you come in from some blood test. I have heard of a rabbid squirrel. My doggs are my boys so I would be taking them to the Vet. I know others will say different.

That's what dogs are meant to do.  I wouldn't worry about calling the vet.  I would congratulate your dog.

Hehe, nice! What trail was this, btw? There is one part of the Mt. Vernon trail that is notorious for bad crashes. A friend of mine crashed there during the century I did in May and he had to be taken to the hospital to get stitches. His bike was all right and his helmet was not broken (I mean, he got a new one, but it didn't crack in half or anything), but the piece inside that adjusts to fit your head had broken and gouged him in the temple!

Right behind Big Wheel bikes, is a really curvy section, 3 or so tight switchbacks and always leaves on the ground.  I think that is considered W&OD but it could be the Custis Trail, they change names a couple times in Arlington.
