I think Gogg's might be down here for it too. That'll make it even better. It's a go. I I'll be staying in Round Rock, or maybe with my other friend who lives downtown-ish. RR?? Stay in dowtown, for sure. |

I need to work in a day of mountain biking this trip out too. All I did last year was eat, since my friend was laid up recovering from knee surgery. I think I gained 8-10 lbs on that trip. UGH, I know, I have actually had work :-P How r u? I'm ok. Just about to leave for work. Also needing to figure out a race schedule one of these days. And then actually sign up for some races. What is your longest distance going to be? Make sure to do the Naperville Sprint! You know if you don't you will totally miss the awesome swim, haha I want to do a HIM towards the end of the season. If I don't get there I'll still be doing a couple Olympics. I'll probably be skipping HRMS Naperville for 2 reasons: Cost and Overcrowding. I've got a race in Colorado I'm planning on that's going to be expensive enough, don't need to put out $100 + lodging (no crazy girl's parents to stay with this year) for that one. I'm looking at 1 race in April, 2 in May, 3 in June (1 Oly), 1 in July (Colorado) + the BIX7, August isn't clear, if they have the race in DeWitt, IA again this year I'll do it, Sept is the HIM I'm looking at plus an Oly at the end of the month. I think that's a full enough calendar for me. |

I'm not sure where you stand in your workouts or logs, but I'm just saying, that if you can do an olympic and feel good/strong the entire time, you can do an HIM, IMO. You might not be blazing fast, but you have enough fitness to do it.... I think you should sign up... However, there is a bigger leap to get up to a IM than HIM in my opinion. |

The run has me a bit concerned...the longest I've ever done is 7.xx, but I know I should have plenty of time to build up those next few. I felt good through my entire Oly, but that was partially due to the fact that doing it was a spur of the moment decision and I had no expectations. I still finished in a pretty decent time. |

Tri the Illini is May 3, QC is June 20/21 can't remember which. Could you grab the train to C-U? Or even to Galesburg, I could give you a ride from there. Are you going to do Great Illini again? |

Champion 34263 Chicago | Subject: RE: TAN #64 - A Case of Temporary InTANity Sprint I'm not sure I wanna go that far to do a sprint. I'd have to rent a car, probably, then get a hotel. May not be worth it. OR I could talk a friend of mine into driving down there with me on Friday night, getting to bed early then going partying with the college hoochies on Saturday night. It's Saturday, May 2, by the way. |
