Awful day at work is a great reason to work out, helps burn off the stress! Back when I worked in a very stressful workplace my after-work exercise kept me sane (well, as sane as I can be).

Swimming clinic again tonight...  Not feeling it, but I paids, so needs to go.

This afternoon I was asked to be a judge for a home school debate competition. This is going to be fun, I have never judged a competition before but I feel that I am really good at judging people, so it should be right up my alley!

Did you like it?  I watched it the other night at home.  The wife get's all the best picture nominees sent to her on DVD so she can post her vote for the SAG awards.  We watched it over the weekend.  It was ok.  Great acting, but a little slow to me?

Going to watch Capt Phillips tonight.  We got the Butler (which we saw in theaters), 12 years a slave, that Woody Allen flick and a couple others.

I think I said something like yet ANOTHER low cut top for Amy after the 5th or 6th one.  They probably went through a case of wardrobe tape (that double sided stuff)

I was asked to be a future cities judge at an elementary school.

I thought that if a display was exceedingly bad, I would yell "And you call yourself an aspiring engineer?!?!?!!?  Stick to flipping burgers kid, that's all you going to be good at" Then smash their display...

One things for certain, for the rest of his life, he will remember me....  Isn't that our goal?  To be remembered?  

Is that because it doesn't happen much?

BTW, I'm rarely right in my house.  I'm either wrong, or just agree with her.

I used to do this in college, it was so fun!  It's hilarious to see how the kids get dressed up how they think engineers look.  Some of the projects are super impressive, some are terrible.  But...I never crushed their souls to their faces.

Call me the dream dasher, soul crusher... 

BTW, love the swim class.  It's weird though.  55 minutes to barely get in 1500 meters?  HOWEVER, mixing up the drills and resting with hard efforts, still makes it feel like a thorough workout.  OTOH, an hour is a little long sometimes and there could be times I want to get my 2k meters in under 40 minutes and get out of there.
