I'm trying to learn more about when electrolytes are needed vs when they just taste good :-D  (Cuz goodness knows I don't need the extra calories!!)

According to a personal nutrition book I borrowed from my mom (who is in that profession) electrolytes are needed after exercising for an hour.

Has anyone tried nuun?  I have had it..it's not a really great tasting thing - but it gives electrolytes and very low calories.  I wonder if it would upset stomaches?!?!

I really like it.  I have a pretty sensitive tummy and haven't hard problems with it.  Some of the flavors suck.  My favorite is TriBerry.

Least favorite...training?    Getting out there when I don't want to

Favorite: great rides/runs.  Like when I fly down a hill at 30 mph.

Artemis - 2009-06-30 11:52 AM 2) Favorite thing to eat while running

Bratwurst Besides the usual sports drink and gels, the 2 most appetizing items I ate during my last HIM run were animal crackers and flat Coke.  Yeah, I know...nothing new on race day, but they were SO good, and they didn't give me stomach cramps...

That is why you're awesome.

BTW, congrats on having two senators finally!
