BTW, I just posted a wishlist with diamonds on it.  I need three...the two on the list plus the Pair of the Regent.

I have TWO I can trade...a Koh-I-Noor and a Great Star of Africa.  I'll trade either of those for one of the ones I need...shoot me a message. 

I'm out of energy jobs in Vegas, so the only place I have to use my energy is on missions or farming for baht.

Since I've sold everything from the previous episodes, I just use a job from the same episode.  The trick is to make sure that you have a supply of baht before you start a new level/episode.  I had it happen once where I went on to the next level and didn't have enough baht to do any of the jobs, so I just had to wait.  I try to analyze the energy usage to baht gained to pick the job.

I can't help you on the diamonds, since I only have 2 and only 1 of each one of those.  I really should put the diamonds on my wishlist, in case I get a free wishlist item from a mystery bag or the daily take.

Just sent you one.  All I ask is you keep me in mind when you have extra sat phones.

When I'm done with Level 6 you can have any extra ones I get!  I can probably even do a little sat phone farming for you at some point!

I sat down and did the math, and there are some that are a bit better than others, BUT, they are are about the same and dismal.

I do a job in the second chapter of the last level I'm working on.  It pays about 9k for 144 energy.  That breaks down to about 62 baht per 1 energy spent.  That's about the best you can do.  Most of the the others only give you in the 50's.

So, I can get about 450k of baht a day farming, and 400k every 72 hours from my businesses.  That means with my full attention, I can net gross about 1 million every two days (but lose 10% when I bank it).  I NEED 7 million just to get to the next job, so it will take a week of farming and collecting (and THAT'S if I do it with perfect timing) to just get enough for the next job....  I could buy 250k in baht with rp, BUT for the same rp, I can buy energy and make more farming, even at that dismal return.

That's why I think they made a miscalculation with Bangkok.  you shouldn't have to wait weeks just to get enough money to START the next job, IMO.  I think it should be a balance of waiting for energy, stamina, and money and getting items.  I think they did well with Vegas (I might say the amount of stamina to close out the jobs is a little over the top.  160 stamina for 2% complete?  I can only do that job 4 times per full stamina (about 10 times a day).  It's still going to take a week or more just to do that bit of house cleaning.

Good info, Kido.  I guess I'll just keep using my energy in Vegas until I can't get any further.  Maybe even once Italy opens up I can do the same there.  As long as they don't take away the Old City Bonus it doesn't matter when I finish Bangkok.  I'm really kicking myself for my $2M mistake.  I sometimes wish MW had an "undo" button.

Kido, I'm using that same job (the 144 energy for about 9,000 baht), since it appears to be the best ratio.  I'm down to needing 2.6 million more baht.

I'm in Italy!!  That means, I no longer have to waste time farming for baht, since I can wait for my properties to produce baht.  The format for Italy is the same as Las Vegas.  I checked the forums and, apparently, we won't have to complete all of the paths (energy, fight, social) to finish the level; we just have to pick one path.

I noticed I can get in now too.  Can't do much, but I'm in.  I still have Vegas to do, though I am debating doing Italy before Vegas....

It opened up for me today too. I think I'll try and develop the properties first because I have only finished NY & Cuba.

Yeah, whenever a new city opens up I try to at least work on the properties and upgrading them to make $$$ in the new city even if I can't do any jobs.  And since the jobs do have low energy I will sometimes use them to get close to zero'ing out before a level up.

You should FLY through Moscow with the old city bonus!

Got into Italy also, basically going to open up all the properties (Level 1) to collect the Lira then go back to finishing Bankok and Vegas. Have the last two episodes for both to finish, although closer in Vegas than in Bankok.

I suppose I should concentrate on Moscow but I've been splitting my time there and in Bangkok.

Well, I really wanted to get done with Bangkok before moving on to Italy, but now that I'm in, it's prudent to use my energy getting it done instead of farming for Baht.  I guess I bangkok will have to wait once again.  I'll just let the business grow Baht slowly, and when I'm close to done with Italy, I might have enought to knock out Bangkok once an for all.

AS SOON as I have enough money, I'm finishing it.

That's my plan too.  As I get enough Baht to finish the next job I keep progressing through.  Until I have the Baht for a job I work on Vegas and Italy.  Bangkok will get done eventually!

for the people farming baht.. are you at least trying to buy what you need for the jobs, even if it is only one to two items before losing the 10% bank fee?

I don't use the bank in any of the cities.  As long as I leave the game with my health below 20, no one attacks me; therefore, I never have to bother with the 10% loss from banking money.

Yes.  I will sometimes temporarily stop banking if I am close to having enough to buy something.  I try to collect the properties and then immediately buy something to go to 0.

I also try to keep my health below 20 to avoid people attacking me, but it doesn't always work.  Sometimes people are too fast and once in awhile I seem to have a glitch where I get attacked even though i wasn't even logged in and had definitely logged out under 20.  Weird.

I try to leave MW in Las Vegas now or fight my health down in Vegas...two fold...one, I need the ice 250 in Vegas achievement, and two, if I do get attacked I lose Vegas money instead of Baht.

And I only lose 7% when I bank...some achievement or something made that happen a long time ago. Are you sure you are still losing 10%?

you need to complete the money laundering collection to get it to 7%.  Thanks jl, for sending me the last item I needed for that.  I am to level 808, and JUST finished that collection and banking at 7% now.

Doing them in reverse could work, except that in order to do that you have to at least have finished the first level, so you wouldn't be getting the phones at their cheapest.

I think it would be worth getting ahead, but not going crazy.  I would guess that you can get at least 10-25% of any item you need via gifting and mandatory job completion.  So, it might be worth doing the job to get about 400 phones on the first level.  Then as you level up you will get more and you can probably get a few as gifts or from mystery bags if they are on your wishlist.  I agree that progress is fun, but just think how much more progress you will make later with a little planning ahead.  I sure wish I had done this with satellite phones earlier in Bangkok.  Though, I've been very lucky.  Between gifts and mystery bags I haven't really had to duplicate the job too many times to get satellite phones.

And Kido, can you post the website for the rest of us?
