Jealous! I had a kind of boring egg & cheese sandwich on a multigrain bagel from Dunkin Donuts this morning. And some coconut coffee. I wish I bought a bigger coffee. That's funny... I also had the sausage, egg & cheese on a bagel from Dunkin Donuts, but I went for the XTRA LARGE coffee (always do). Gives that nice extra KICK in the morning! |

On to file and appeal. Unhappy. That is just rediculous and I'm sorry to hear that. How can an insurance company change their collective dumb-a$$ minds like that? Dealing with insurance companies is such a royal pain in the arse. I know we've had some luck when Rachel's doctor writes a note rationalizing the equipment/device/procedure. Perhaps you could try that route. |

I rarely eat breakfast out, except when I bike to work; I leave the house ASAP (before traffic gets bad) and stop for breakfast on the way in. |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: bEASTies - March Winds Challenge Good afternoon, bEASTies, I was sooooo tempted to blow off working out today, but then I thought about those evil TWISTERS and got over to the Y for a 1350 yard swim. I'm now up to 4500 yards for the month vs. my goal of 10,000. I will do another swim tomorrow at lunchtime. I also am planning a 3-4 mile treadmill run in the morning so I can close the gap on the run goal. I'm pretty confident I will exceed all goals. SLEDGE HAMMER-TIME!!! |

They were supposed to all be done within +/- 2 seconds of each other but it didn't happen, although I ended up doing 7 or 8 within +- of 2:00. Unfortunately, that's several seconds slower than I can usually do my 100's. All you guys with your swimming makes me want to get back in the pool again. I wish I was on a team again so I could just have someone telling me what to do. I'm not that great doing pool workouts by myself. I think I need a swimming buddy. I know exactly what you mean. I could really benefit from someone yelling at me from the sides to pick up the pace. It's funny. I HATED my coaches when I was on the swim team. Now I wish I had one! Goes to show, the grass is always greener. . . |

Wow, I think if I did that I'd be jumping off the walls when I got to work. Of course, I'm not a very big person (5'1"), so a little coffee goes a long way. But it tastes soooo gooooood! |

Submitted request for payment and was denied. We aren't sure what happened and their phone calls didn't get any answers and mine didn't either. We have already filed an appeal. Our insurance policy says that they will cover if the hearing loss is 26db or higher over the 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000 range. His right ear meats most of those (not at 3000 or 4000) but I guess his left ear does not. Okay, fair enough but cover one for his right ear. I'm headed into the office tomorrow morning to try to get some answers as to why it was initially approved and now denied. We'll see if I get anywhere. I'm pretty disappointed but so far, I have done everything I can. |

I cannot believe I have a daughter old enough to watch a puberty video and come home with "products." She did tell me that the girls did fine but the boys were, in their words, "scarred for life." Good luck with your parental follow-up, and kudos to you for being a supportive Dad. Edited by jtrezza 2010-03-25 2:55 PM |
