aidana - 2008-10-15 9:52 AM really? my bank just dumps it all in some big machine....no wrapping involved!

Mine to, but they said they had bags of coins ahead of me, and I would have to wait, like hours...

No thanks.

I'm complaining over nothing really.  I just need to do it...  But it's just one of those things that is SUCH a time waster, I keep putting it off.

sonuvabeotch. See what I get for trying to talk to my salesman in Miami, eat a chicken burrito, and move decimal points in my head in haste?

I was going to say.  I WISH I was cashing in 100k of coins....  I would buy a porsche with my pennies and nickles...

So, I have been trying to decide...

I probably have 700-1000 bucks in change sitting in a pretzel barrel at home.  Been working on it for about 5 years, I'm thinking...

SO, I could take it to the bank and just get the cash - but I have to sit and wait, or leave it with them - or worse yet, they make me roll my own coins.

OR, since it's easier, I can take it to the grocery store and have them count it in one of the vending machines.  But if I get cash back, they charge 6%.  No thanks - not an option.  BUT, if you use the coins to by gift cards, it's free.  SO, I could use the change and get X-mas gift cards and never see it hit the wallet.

sheesh, I don't know.

Roll it and deposit that shizzle. That's what I would do. But then again, I have no money, so it'd be worth the effort.

Rolling doesn't sound fun (Coins that is...)

I guess I could grab a bottle of wine, sit on the floor, watch a movie and roll quarters...

I was thinking race wheels, to be honest.  Then it never comes out of the account and regular budget....

Dude. http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Magnif-4840-Accuwrapper-Coin-Counter-and-Sorter/3220918/product.html?cid=123620&fp=F&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=11334674

noice....but then he'd have to spend 39.99 of his own money? doesn't that defeat the point?

Not really, better than paying the 6% at the store. I bet you'd use the thing at the store if it only took 3.999%

Oh, wait, That's $39.99!!! Well holy carp.

Fixed.

i understand. Decimal points are hard.

I've been trying really hard not to use that word... even in sarc font... it really isn't fair.  She has been with the church for 10 years.  This really sucks.
