i'm debating leaving now since i worked long days mon and tues, and just knocking this project out in the morning.  no patience for fussy software right now.

i'll be sure to keep you posted kiddies, i think a big change is coming tonight.

Uh oh. Givin it up finally?

ha no.  quite the opposite.

Oh. OK. Yikes. Sorry.

we shall see.  i've had all day to mentally prepare for this.  just not often it's the guy that says "maybe we need to talk about our relationship."  whatever shakes out tonight i'll be ok.

You know I hate when people do that. Just say it. Don't make someone suffer all frickin' day thinking about what you're going to say. Just do it.

Amen...

My boss did that to me once.  He wanted a 'meeting' with me in the morning.  I knew it could be good since we had been laying people off (old job).

I said NO WAY.  Do it NOW.  I was NOT going to stay up all night worrying about it.  If it was good, they would just come out with it.

ALSO, any time a girl said that to me, it was bad news.

I would agree.  If they want to talk about it, mention that when you are together that night.  Don't tease it early in the day...  aggrevating (to me).

yeah agreed, but i could also argue for not wanting to do it over the phone.  give the person some respect and do it in person.  i said well if we're having a talk we're having it at my house, that way i don't need to worry about driving home after whatever is said...i know "they" say you need to do it on neutral territory but he won't cry and i will and i want to be able to get in bed with the doggie and start to forget about him without having to wonder how i'll get my butt home without dying.

I left it a surprise.   But she still had a 'clue'.  I don't usually make nice dinner plans, so she suspected something when I did.

we are and have been exclusive (he was the one dropping "boyfriend/girlfriend" and "i love you" first)

and i'm pretty sure he doesn't want us to live together.  i own my home and his lease is about to run out and he is looking at renting a house with a friend of his.  he can't exactly invite himself to move in with me, and neither of us want that anyway.

When I left my wife I waited 'til I got home and then dropped the bomb on her. She asked why I didn't just tell her ahead of time and I said `You wanted me to tell you over the phone?' She now agrees it's better I did it the way I did it.

It's usually better in person, but warning you it's coming isn't very nice.  It's just stressful.

That's also annoying after all the CH drama.

i'm not super worried about it to be honest.  i mean, yeah i'll cry and be miserable and depressed for a little, but then i'll scrounge up my frequent flyer miles, go visit someone that lives somewhere warm for a weekend, and get back to being my awesome self.

of course, that may not be how the night goes, but i'm hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

MEh, hang in there chica. You're a catch. If he isn't sticking around, its gonna be okay. We're here for you!!! I hope it goes well tonight. Good idea on being at your house. Much better regardless of whichever way it goes.

i'm not super worried about it to be honest.  i mean, yeah i'll cry and be miserable and depressed for a little, but then i'll scrounge up my frequent flyer miles, go visit someone that lives somewhere warm for a weekend, and get back to being my awesome self.

of course, that may not be how the night goes, but i'm hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

there ya go. Some place warm! Ooh I want to go to the beach RIGHT NOW.

could go either way,,, guys will say something like that when they are ready to propose also

i am 110% sure that is NOT what he wants to talk about.

Probably just wants to talk about where it's going, I'm guessing...

Are you exclusive yet?  Live together maybe?

we are and have been exclusive (he was the one dropping "boyfriend/girlfriend" and "i love you" first)

and i'm pretty sure he doesn't want us to live together.  i own my home and his lease is about to run out and he is looking at renting a house with a friend of his.  he can't exactly invite himself to move in with me, and neither of us want that anyway.

So chances are you won't be married with 'kido and Mrs. Kido as the witnesses by morning?

But married TO kido and Mrs. Kido is always an option.  Utah is only 60 minutes away....

Anyone else see the polygamists article on msn today?

I was thinking the same thing...  Vacation.  I could use one.  Just crappy timing.  Less income coming in, etc...
