Watch the biggest rivalry in college soccer tonight: CalPoly SLO vs. UC Santa Barbara. Yes, amazingly enough there is a rivalry in college soccer...

Hopefully go surfing tomorrow, been a while since I've hit the water for fun with my board and not for an OWS. In the evening maybe go to the CalPoly football game. They are not up there with the ranked schools but it's fun to watch and I have free tickets.

Sunday: Pumpkin carving!

cal poly SLO...oh man do I have memories of that place...I miss living there

Is it just my computer or are others having issues tracking Monica and Chris? The page won't even start to load for me, gives me an error.

Looks like Monica is 364 and Chris is 509.

Tony posted on FB (why is he not updating TAN? Humpph) that Monica was at mile 1 on the run about 15 minutes ago. Chris looks to be on the run as well!

Tracking seems fixed, but no mid-discipline splits. Just finals for each leg.

I know. I did a half ironman and then fell off the planet.

I started Crossfit about a year ago and have been addicted to that, but decided to sign up for another HIM this spring and popped back on here to start to track my training.

Figured since I was around I should say hi. :D

How have you been lady?

I am totally one of those people who has consumed the kool aid so I won't go off on a total Crossfit tangent, but it's pretty awesome. If you ever get a chance to drop into a box (most will do a first workout for free) I highly recommend checking it out.

YAY for a marathon! Which one did ya'll do?

i've done first workouts/reduced 2 weeks with a groupon/etc, i know i love the workouts.  just can't bring myself to shell out so much money for a gym - around here the cheapest is $60/month and a 40 minute drive, the most convenient is $90/month.  GROSS (as someone who pays race fees and had a very pricey race weekend recently)

we ran the chicago marathon!  and monica bandited it!  mwah ahahahha

Been GOOD! So good!

The new BT was strange at first but they made some changes after the initial switch that made things better. I like it!

Oh fun! I heard that was a great race this year, nice weather and of course well organized.

The Crossfit memberships around here range from $120-$200/month. I just don't think about it or else I would be disgusted.

I'm feeling surprisingly good - like, it doesn't even hurt to go up or down stairs kinda good.  It's probably because it wasn't a REAL 140.6 like meh says, but I still thought there'd be more hurt.  I am completely exhausted, still.  Not really sleepy, but just kinda wiped out.

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
