got interesting news last night over pizza and vino with global R&D manager for injectors and global generic project manager for injectors...new injector launch coming up and i'm being considered as project manager....freakin out.

nope.  thanks to our "strategic" structure, it would be a US based position with lots of trips to Germany, Italy, China, and possibly Russia and/or India and/or Brazil.

Most people concur about Newark ... except for me. I've only been there three times, but for a week each time, and people were REALLY nice to me! Even in the dead of winter. One of the times I lost my wallet, and my address was in it (but no phone number) and by the time I got back, it with all its contents intact had arrived in my post box. I sent a thank-you card to the return address and a check, which never got cashed.

Then again, I found Los Angeles to be a very friendly city.

Congrats MEH!!!  That would seem to work well with your wanting to travel and see the world.

but why are they rude if you don't know french?  i've been to plenty of countries where i don't know the language and never had someone be rude to me just cause i can't speak whatever-ese.

then again, amurricans are a-holes to anyone that doesn't know english...
