Ugh - I remember not even being able to get a reservation for dinner before 11pm/midnight... though I think that might have been in Barcelona? How early do you have to be up in the morning? If you don't have to be up at ridiculous o'clock you might want to take the happy pill. |

Glad to hear you're alive, Preach. Tony? Preach? And Pector? Hi! Hi Teej! Geez... THAT wore you out? I thought it would have been all the crazy-azzed stuff from your workout. You get energized and delirious after a workout? I usually feel like I need a nap. Usually after a swim you are hungry, because your body temperature has dropped and the body is telling you to eat. |

Very cool. So the dinner was like an interview ? Hopefully there was no unstrategic slobbering of spaghetti sauce. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: TAN#200: BicenTANial Bliss! Originally posted by gr33n Darn work ethic. Worlds most friendly city- Florianopolis Brazil Worlds most unfriendly city- Newark NJ. The IM Brazil folks concur re. Floripa. It's also not nearly as unsafe as the Brazilian megatropolises. That said, I'm really excited about going in 2016! Most people concur about Newark ... except for me. I've only been there three times, but for a week each time, and people were REALLY nice to me! Even in the dead of winter. One of the times I lost my wallet, and my address was in it (but no phone number) and by the time I got back, it with all its contents intact had arrived in my post box. I sent a thank-you card to the return address and a check, which never got cashed. Then again, I found Los Angeles to be a very friendly city. |

A friend of mine just did a London-Paris-Rome vacation and said the people in Paris were rude to her. I don't understand this as a lot of Americans say that, but we never had a bad experience in Paris. In fact they were always very nice to us. I said `Did you try to speak to them in French or just expect them to know English.' and she said `Oh well I guess I should've learned a little bit of French before I left.' SIgh. |
