jmk-brooklyn - 2008-08-18 8:18 PM OMG are those.....BUCKETS?

Technically, but I understand that in deference to BT's hatred of the bucket, they are referred to as "Bins" on the international stage.

amiine - 2008-08-19 1:17 PM 55 sec lead for the two riders, they don't have a chance...

I think you are right... but the heat might make a bit of a difference too? Anyone know what the temp is there today?

I think they said mid 80s

Umm ok thats just under degrees for those of us in metric... yuck... but it could be worse!

Seems like that would make for a bit more difficult swim and a much more uncomfortable bike ride.

I dont know, Gomez is know to take lead of the run right off the bat and I dont see that happening just yet. If Kemper, Whitfield, Docherty and Unger stay with him they can out kick him... Rana and the British can surprise everyone!

Well, it ain't gonna be the USA.  Kemper is falling back and Reed doesn't seem to be making any moves.  Haven't seen hide nor hare of Shoemaker lately.

So a practical question to the more experienced:  what do you focus on when trying to close a gap like that?

Aussies arent looking great either... nice to see Docherty still there though (I love being able to claim allegiance to two countries!)
