Spiglet is pimping you out in Fred's mentor thread. Thought I'd give you the heads up ... so. How was the pineapple? Spiglet is pimping me out? I thought only you did that! I blame Allen with the whole trout rumor he be spreadin' I don't have a pace worth discussing at the moment so I have to share yours. Fine by me I've gotten feedback at work stating, literally, that I don't "toot my own horn enough" Oh, I'll toot your horns. And anything else that needs a-tootin'. Wrong thread again? Short of this being said in a year end review, I almost said that exact same thing. |

How are you doing? Is the un-gimping coming along okay? Bike back yet? I'm doing OK, the bike was declared totaled due to gouges in the carbon blah blah blah. I'm having a hard time with it because they are taking my Kysriums too. I guess I am supposed to look at it like I get a new bike and new wheels for the cost of new wheels but it's not feeling that way right now. This was not going to be a 2012 purchase! WAH! That sucks. Adding insult to injury ... literally. Any chance insurance will cover it? What about the truck driver's insurance? |

Master 4452 | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Beyond Ridiculous Manatees PART 6--CLOSED Re the HRM discussion--when I first started running (late 2009) I always ran waaaaaaaay too fast, so started using one to slow myself down. I have a tendency to injury, so wanted to be careful. Used it all the way up until my HIM this summer. Then, after the discussion about Salty running naked, decided to try it. Well, I still put it on, but I don't run by it. And I find that my HR is always a bit higher than my zones, even if I am feeling good at the pace I am at. I think Yanti is right, I probably didn't push hard enough in the test, so my zones are lower than for real. I seem to be staying relatively injury free (assuming my SI joint is not out...) so far running by feel, so I am going to stick with it for now. |

Elite 4435 | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Beyond Ridiculous Manatees PART 6--CLOSED Disturbing but I'm sure it's okay - but needing some Manatee love. DH ran into the back of a trailer on his scooter today (mailman don't forget) - took a ladder to the stomach. He phoned me from the ambulance to say they were taking him to the ER to check for internal bleeding! He sounded fine but we all know serious things can be happening internally. So - that was a couple of hours ago, i've heard nothing else, I imagine if it were bad news or surgery I'd have been informed by now ..... I'll keep you all posted. Don't wanna go for a run now |
