So I was at about 1:05 of a 1:15 plank yesterday (read: dying) and DH (bless his peapickinlittleheart) walks in and asks if I'm stretching out (from my ride). Ummmmm... NO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks, but at a certain point I should stop celebrating.  Although the ladies at work brought in pie and cake, so maybe I celebrated just a little.

What's up fABulous people!  First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!  Now celebrate with a 2 minute plank!

I have to ask, Switch, were you joking when you said that was Comet in the pic?  Because I seem to remember seeing some pics in COJ of Comet doing stuff similarly wicked and bad a$$.

Since three of you lovely ladies were brave enough, I too will work on posting a week one before pic by tomorrow.

And uh, fellas.....you're MORE than welcome to join the bare abs pic posting party.

Right? WTH?  I guess there all skeerd.

Comet is completely bad a$$ and there's no doubt in my mind that if she wanted to learn how to do that, she could.  I want to see the GIF version of that pic to see how you pedal the bike and then get on to the handle bars facing the other way though.  I can't wrap my weak little mind around that.

Woohoo!

Ha! I was just puzzling over the lack of testosterone revealing pics. In fact, kept me quite busy during corpse pose at yoga today  I have a very recent one of DH, but I'll let him stew over whether to throw all in or just leave it up to the ladies. Tongue out

I'm not so much askeered as I don't want to cause harm to anyone's eyes. Youse that have posted have no idea what fluffiness on your abs is. Lol. How about I post a video of my power plank attempt on Saturday? You can see the pain on my face!
We'll take what you've got to offer... for now. The pain part will appease some of the more sadistic amongst us.

Day whatever it is of the core challenge.

Used to be a core freaker, then I pulled an oblique during a new routine and have stopped for three weeks. It's crazy how much muscle definition gets lost in such short time. Doing 25-45 minutes of yoga regularly now and will get back into my normal 30-60 minute core workouts after this weekend (first sprint tri of the season Sunday yeeah).

I'd be happy to show you some progress photos, but....(WARNING: newb alert)....

HOW DO I POST PICS???

Yoga done today. Was going to count it for core, but with all this pain going around I did another 10min: high/low planks, side planks (tried that 5lb thing...yeah, ouch), superman, flutter kicks, slow n low bike.

Excellent!  Under the box where you type a reply like this, you'll see some boxes you can check in the left bottom corner.  Click the one that says "attach a file after posting".

All righty Lesa, what's the verdict on this?  30 minutes of body flo had a good section of core and back .....about 2 songs worth.  Count my 10 min there or do 10 more separate?

You can count it. I count all my core I do in my classes.

Now she tells me, I just did 5 rounds of 10 push ups--10 squats--10 sit ups.  Would have done more but I had a cat playing bobble head with my push ups.  She was timing her head bobbles with my push up to get "rubbed" by my head on the way by.

That's right--let the pain be your friend.

You can totally count the abs section of a class, or not...;)
