Any Clydes here in PTC? Seems like the only people I see are the buff tri Gods. I would love to find a fellow Clyde to swim bike waddle with. I need a training partner to help me stay motivated. Someday I would love to be waiting for my wife at the finish line. She Is always waiting for me. |

I intend to always race age group but I'm in the 230# class and that isn't changing unless I give up the strength training although I'd like to move closer to the tri-god in body fat. Would love to find a fellow training, especially for OWS in Lake Peachtree and road rides.

Member 22 | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians Hey Tim, I would love to swim/ride toghether. My attempt to find a fellow clyde to train with was because I'm slow and I don't want to slow anybody down. If there is anybody willing to help me out, it would be appreciated. I have been getting a little faster each year but still find myself towards the bottom. I too need to move my body fat down, I'm sure it is the number one reason why I am so slow. I am planning on riding the PTC Olympic course july 3rd if you or anybody else is interested. |

Welcome to Georgia. Watergirl lives in Athens and Autigers_1998 lives in Winder. You might try them. Mindy's bike shop (Autigers) has a Saturday ride each week. I assume the bike shop in Athens has a weekly ride. My parents live in Madison which is 20 miles south of Athens on 441. I visit almost every weekend. I would be glad to ride with you on a weekend sometime. Edited by nealphelps 2008-07-25 7:27 AM |

Pro 3705 Vestavia Hills | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians Terry ... welcome. One thing you might want to look into is going to a Masters Swim. This is something I delayed doing and, like correcting bad habits from an errant golf swing, am in the process of correcting. You might want to post something in the Georgia Forum to see if anyone knows of one in your neck of the woods. rockrunner - 2008-08-22 11:53 AM Name: Terry I'm mostly fun/fitness runner and mountain biker and do a few 5-10k's each year.
