The faces especially, everyone is smiling. I'm 6'1, 205, and it was my hope to be down to 190 for my first triathlon in March (the Pasadena Reverse). That would drop me below the Clydesdale class (one of my goals as a triathlete is to slim down) but I am one right now and I see that it is a happy group to be a part of. Very inspirational. Thanks to all for sharing your pics. |

This past summer I was sitting around 215 lb range. I don't think I will ever be able to get below the 200l b mark. The races that I have done here in Canada don't have a Clydedale division so I always race as an AGer. Looking at all these pictures gives me the same OVERWHELMING rush of happiness and accomplishment I felt as I crossed the finish line of my very first Tri back in August. Survived the Hunington's Disease Triathlon in Key Biscayne, FL on August 5th in memory of my uncle and as a very personal goal to do something I had always dreamed of but never had the guts or endurance to do because of what everyone else thought about my "weight". I AM PROUD TO BE AN ATHENA GODDESS!!!!! That was only the begining... ran a Disney 5K in January, running the Iron Girl 5K in April and taking on my next Tri at the Danskin Women's Triathlon in Orlando May 11th!!!! YEY!!!
