Don't mention it.  My same people (actually, my people's people's people) are working on soliciting a permit from the NVRPA so that our after-dark W&OD ride would be a "sanctioned" event.  Heh.

Nah, I was just smiling at the pic of Daremo, and not to admit responsibility of inviting him. But, he's a cool guy and I would have invited him had I known the opportunity presented itself .

Carrabba's, the hotel, etc are right at mile 18.5 on the W&OD.

I'm totally in. Sounds like a perfect opportunity to get drunk, wear out my legs, and possibly crash my bike, putting me in perfect shape for the marathon on Sunday. Woot!

Oh, and I'm sorry, did I see 3558 bragging about his swimming poweress a few pages ago? AHEM?

Au contraire mon frere.  If you took the time to actually read my comment, you'd notice that I was stating that it's clear I am a lousy excuse for a swimmer.

Word.  There is a pavillion behind it where we can gather.  Plenty-o-parking in the YMCA lot, also the hotel lot.  Carrabba's are BTiches and will tow if you aren't eating there, so avoid that lot.

Since we would be starting at the Y, we could just go there afterwards, young man! There are all kinds of things we can do there! We could get a good meal. We could get clean. We could pretty much do whatever we feel, really.
